I took the mother I selected from 5 seeds back in 2017 and finally laid her into flower. Before that,
I took 2 cuts, one of which is this one to start a new med plant, and the other (this one) is going to be vegged/topped until I get enough even clonable branches to get 10 cuts to grow in flower and make a new mother. I made an ebb and flow set up to bunch many new cuttings together under a lower wattage smaller light until they get decent roots. It's a long drawn out process. Once they are ready for the next step, the one going into flower will remain on this diary, and the other will begin a new one once they are rooted. This has been my night time medication for a while, but Ive started searching for more sleepy painkiller strains which is also going to take some time. As much as I like this one, esp the colors, taste, and smell.... this pheno seems to embrace the little bit of sativa she has, with thinner long leaves, longer node spacing, plus makes lower yeilds. Prob in the 350-400m2 range. Some of the other potential replacement strains Ive started are expected to yeild low weight as well specd by the breeder, but so far they have much tighter spacing, and a wider indica leaf.
@hanzo385,Ken's GDP regs, same as yours from online seedbank that has always been reliable. She's beautiful just a slow flower, heat probably didn't help either. I'm sure I'll find some faster flowering phenos soon.
@Growin_strong, Holy crap thats a long ass time! who is the original breeder you got the seeds from? Ive been thinking about doing the same,... trying to find a higher yeilding, faster flowering strain to mate her with.. maybe something with gdp already in it... and obviously purple lol.
@hanzo385, that's what I was expecting from mine but got a 13-14 WK pheno. Had to pull at 12 wks. I hit her with GDP male, hoping I get a 9 weeker in there
