Transplant week! Transplanted all plants from 1gallon to 5gallon felt pots this Saturday. I used a new mix of ProMix Mycorrhiza, composted chicken manure, cow manure and coco coir... Potent stuff! The roots looked really good; loose, not bound and just poking out to be replanted... Root mass was solid, but not hard... Dealt with what I thought was a bug problem... Cal/Mag Deficiency. Defoliated plants after transplanted, and watered with water pH 6.5, no nutes - soil mix is heavy in nutrition, didn't want to over feed.

I have noticed some pest or mold damage on the fan leaves - pictures in last three photos... white coloured, raised, spots have turned rust like. Haven't seen all bit one bugs - thrips. Used a insecticidal soap spray every second day for 2 weeks, still seeing damaged leaves??

Good news! It's not mold or a major issue with bugs. A few of those photos towards the end look like some bugs have had a couple of lunches, but what I see, and I'm always learning, is Cal/Magnesium deficiency. Check these articles from Nebula and good luck. It doesn't look that bad, my dude. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/calcium-deficiency https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/magnesium-deficiency For the bugs, get some yellow sticky traps and make some of this bug trap juice. I put a few cups of the juice outside and place the sticky traps near the cups. I collect SO MANY BUGS its rediculous A half-cup of warm water plus two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon of sugar, and about six drops of liquid dish soap just might be able to cure your gnat woes. They'll be lured in by the sugary mixture, but once they dip in for a drink, the sticky dish soap will trap them.

This being only my second 'grow' and first outdoors, I have a question about the impact of lights from my neighbor's yards, and white porch light at this point in my grow, preflower, 11weeks into grow.

Unless it's a bright spot or searchlight, I doubt the light is reaching your garden to affect anything. - However, if you're in doubt and truly want to know, go buy light meter. they'll set you back between 50 and 500$, depending on the quality and brand. (Tho, you could probably download an app for your phone that uses the camera, but it's likely not very precise if it even works.)

Unless they are really strong lights, it will have no impact on your plants.

@@@Athos, Really eh?! That's very good news, cause I've heard of some that say even a small, blinking light in a grow tent can cause revegetation... With little experience in my side, I'm grateful for the help. Thanks!
