Just coming back from a mid flower PH lockout of my medium a couple weeks ago. Signs of N and Ca deficiencies very apparent. On the mend and recovering now. Leaves are getting green again. Also, I didnt know the leaves would actually heal in the "rust spots" and return to a healthy leaf. Interesting! Anyways, feed ur plants just plain water every 3rd feed and you wont end up in my predicament. Ah well lesson learned.
went to the lucas formula for the focus on bloom nutes and also the added N which i still have deficiencies for. Trying to get my Ca and N deficiencies fully recovered since the flush
overall pretty easy week. We are getting close to chop time. Trichs are about 80% cloudy 10% clear and maybe 10% amber. So a week or two im thinking she will be ready!
Overall im expecting better quality and about the same yield as i got on my first grow (4oz) mostly due to having 2 good plants and 2 smaller plants, but much more dense then last harvest. Hoping for more then 4oz but thats my guess. Just removed fan leaves and any leaf without crystal. Will do a dry trim and manicure when they are done hanging. Im guessing 4oz, what are your thoughts? Grow was pretty straight forward. I had two plants in ProMix HP and two in Cyco CocoPearl. The Cyco plants both sucked the big one. They were small and slow growers through whole grow. Didnt produce anything special at all and hurt my overall yield big time. The plants liked the added light this grow, Made for bigger, denser buds. I am done my experiments with nutes and mediums for abit, im switching to the Gaia Green dry amendments and organic worm castings from now on going forward, and using Proterra as my medium since ProMix HP was sold out locally in my area. My 2 other grows are doing well so far and much easier then growing with the Flora trio in my opinion. Im still not overly impressed with the density these amazon leds make. For 600w at the wall im still sub 0.5g/W. So im gonna use these for veg and get a hps for flower and see what happens. I only took off the fan leaves and any sugars that had no crystal and hung the whole plant. Overall very suprised in the end yield, I only expected 4oz or so and got just over 9 oz 🤙
overall the grow taught me alot and suprised the hell out of me in the end yield department. But not happy with the g/watt im getting with these lights having to be too high off the canopy to get good par to the buds. Will be switching to a HPS for flower and see how that goes. Will also lollipop right up to 3-4 nodes maximum post stretch from now on.
