Green_Guanche Following up on this auto, they share a cabinet with other plants, I'm going to give all of them vegetation under the light, and if I see that the space gets too tight, I'll take some outside. I’ll keep updating, any advice will be welcome. As the title says, I'm with my first plants indoors. Edit: The plants have accepted the new pots and the LED well. The temperature has risen due to the hot summer days, but I've adjusted the fans and I'm maintaining 29ºC. By increasing the airflow, I've lost about 10 to 12% humidity, but I'm still within acceptable ranges.

Green_Guanche We're moving on to another week, the plants are adapting well to the indoor environment. There's one of them that has very wrinkled leaves; they all share the same substrate and fertilizer variables, but I think this one hasn't reacted well to the latter. I lowered the pH to 6.18 and I'm only watering with water; it looks like I've given them too much, as some plants have their leaf tips pointing up, especially the wrinkled one. I'll keep you updated on how it progresses.

Green_Guanche We're starting the third week. The new leaves of the wrinkled plant look better, I'm still wondering if it's a genetic thing, it's the only one among all the indoor plants that has these malformations. Anyway, the improvement coincides with the absence of fertilizer in the watering, so it's also possible that it affected this one more negatively than the others. There's another one that has some small spots on the older leaves, I'll keep a close eye on it. The third one keeps growing strong and without any issues. Update: I've detected a magnesium deficiency, plus I think I watered in the first weeks with water that was too acidic and I might have blocked the absorption of that element. As seen in the images, one of them developed malformations in the first leaves, once I stopped applying the fertilizer, they all improved, especially this one. The fertilizers I used before I made myself, and it's much less likely to over-fertilize, I'll be more careful since I'm a newbie with the industrial ones. For the magnesium deficiency, I started applying CalMag from Shogun, I was looking for the single nutrient from Canna, but since it was out of stock, I got this one which has good proportions. The first night (on 04/08) I applied it in foliar watering before turning off the light to speed up recovery and then in watering during the day. So far, it seems like they appreciate it.

Green_Guanche The extra calcium and magnesium has been good for the plants. The one that had malformations is gaining strength, but I can foresee that it will yield less than its sisters. There were leaves from the first nodes that have grown a lot and were blocking the light, so I did a little training by passing it under the satellite branches, without ties, the branches themselves hold it up. I don't want to do LST or pruning to avoid stressing the plants; at most, I might consider a low pruning depending on how they continue to grow. Update: Of the three plants, the one with malformations is still lagging behind, the other two have started to activate the flowering phase. They are eating a lot, so I've increased the watering volume and returned to using fertilizers in low amounts.

Green_Guanche Here we are with the flowering phase in full swing. Reading about this strain, it likes cool climates, so I'm not sure if the heat in my climate is what affected the plant with deformities. The other two are very strong. Update: The lagging plant shows signs of flowering but is struggling to take off. The other two have made a good stretch and are opening their branches, a good sign at this stage.

Green_Guanche The Mandarines are still stretching quite a bit early in the flowering stage, I hope they keep growing for a bit longer. They keep eating a lot, I've increased the grow and bloom fertilizer. The citrus aroma is getting more potent. As for the lagging plant, it's progressing in a very curious way, the leaves are more elongated than those of its sisters and it still hasn't gained height. I'm starting to think this plant inherited more ruderalis genetics than it should have, the heat affects it much more than its sisters, I've had to place it closer to the intractor to cool it down more, but even so, it generates a lot of internal branches, but it doesn't stretch. I've noticed all three of them these days with slightly droopy leaves, but they're eating well, as soon as I can, I'll do a thorough check of the plants in case I detect any deficiencies and update. Update: I've identified the cause of the drooping these days. The plants had some mealybugs stuck to their stems, feeding on their precious sap. With great care, I've cleaned the plants, stem by stem and leaf by leaf, with potassium soap and neem oil. I also did a defoliation of the lower leaves on the most affected ones. My inexperience in indoor growing made me complacent thinking there wouldn't be any pests, I'll keep that in mind for the future.

Green_Guanche The cleaning of the lower parts and insects has done them good. The lagging plant is still at its own pace, while its sisters are already full of pistils, this one is still showing its first. I was worried, I thought it was going to turn hermaphrodite or something like that, the difference is so big for being the same genetics. I'm experiencing temperature spikes again, they're still handling these increases well, but I don't want it to affect them. I've turned up the speed of the fans to promote air flow.

Green_Guanche We're still in the hottest weeks of the year in my area. Two of the plants are growing almost symmetrically, while the other is lagging behind; it started its flowering much later than its sisters. I don't know why, but only one of them was affected by the heat much more; the others seem to be handling the extremely high temperatures I'm experiencing just fine. The other two are loaded with pistils and are starting to produce resin.

Green_Guanche The plants are quite tall; when I measure them, I'll update the height since I've realized I've overlooked it in the last few weeks. The buds smell so good you just want to eat them; it's citrusy, but it has that sweet touch that reminds me of tangerine. On the other hand, the buds are super compact and hard, and they look like they're still fattening up even more.

Green_Guanche Another positive week. The buds are big, hard, and compact. There are still many white pistils, so THC production should keep going strong. The smell is delicious, with a soft orange citrus aroma. The lagging plant is still slower than its sisters, and the leaves are turning purple due to the high temperatures of the last few weeks.
