Fast to come out the Critical + 2.0. I put them in the seeds in the root riot and came out so fast. No problem so far. It's 3 of this amazing beauties + 1 Blue cheese, which may have some problem. She was mush slower and it's still smaller. It's the one in the top right vase of the tent. I will focus on the 3 critical with the BC being just an experiment. Finger crossed.
NOT MUCH TO SAY, SECOND WEEK OF VEG. ROOTS DEVELOPING. VERY HOT CLIMATE, BOTH AT NIGHT AND DURING THE DAY. TRYING TO KEEP PH AT 6 and mS at 1,200-1,400 BUT SOLUTIONS SWINGS MADE ME A LITTLE CRAZY.
Third week. I guess most of the action takes place underground. I hope strong roots develop. One plant seems to be suffering a little of too much nutrients (my guess, leaves got yellowish) and growth slowed down compared to peers in the tent. I think it's linked to last week solutions swings.
Manifold started. all Plants cut down to 3rd node to start the manifold structure. One plant, still behind in terms of growth, will be manifolded later. On the top right pot, it's the Dinafem Blue Cheese. 2 of them: One manifolded already, the other kept for LST experiments. PH at 6 and mS at 1,400. this is the solution I target.
This morning I received the email "Long Time No see" from Growdiaries. I apologize for my laziness and this morning I am updating this diary which, I remind myself, contains 3 Critical + 2.0 and 2 Blue Cheese. All Dinafem.
Yesterday I did some training on 3 pot (one Critical is little behind the others and I give her more time) trying to keep every cola in the box at the same height and spacing them.
I am happy with the nutrition of my plants: Good job HESI! target solution this week was: PH at 5.8 and mS at 1,300.
Also, I find it very convenient to have the date automatically attached to the pictures. Thanks to this I was able to realize that this is week number 5 (yesterday marked 1 month and 1 week from sprouting day). Had I not checked this, I would have said this was week number 6. I guess it's the natural grower impatience skewness.
From this point on, I think it's gonna be less and less training for the plants. Next week, one the colas are well spaced, I will start to let them grow in height aiming for the stars.
Not much to say, healthy horizontal growth. Did some training this week to keep them all at the same height. All plants look pretty much at the same level in terms of growth. When I touched the Blue Cheese, my nose could definitely spot out that cheesy feeling.. nice! I keep going with Hesi Vegetative diet. target solution is with PH at 5.7 and mS at 1,400.
Week number 7 almost gone. I just did some defoliation and kept feeding them Hesi Hydro diet for veg with some fresh water been added once per week to bring PH up and mS down to the target level. i.e. around 5.7 for PH and 1,400 for mS. I noticed that some branches that I had tied down last week, kind of stopped growing as fast as they were and looked a bit depressed. I moved them back in a prime position. I think I will switch to flowering at end of week 8. I post some pictures for the diary. Happy growing out there fellows!
First week of bloom gone. This week plants were fed Hesi Flowering diet for hydroponics including boost. Smell is strong, say normal, but air is filtered out with carbon filter and, with box in negative pressure, no smell is detectable in the house or in the room. Plants doing strong stretching (from 30-35 cm to 50-55cm in a week) and showing pre-flowers. Today I did a strong defoliation to increase air flow and light penetration.
Second week of flowering ended. During this week I performed a strong defoliation a did supercropping of 3/4 colas. From now on, I will let them go, no more stress for the plants. If I run out of space I will do some Low stress training to keep flowers safe. I kept the plants in vegetative for too long. I did it to have thick bases but I was wrong. Next time I will try to achieve this buy feeding them better and more.
27 September, day 80 from seed. Third week of flowering finished. Today I emptied out the reservoir. We start today with new solution containing PK (week number 4 of flowering Hesi Hydro diet). All plants and flowers look healthy but I noticed some salts residues on some leaves. Carbon filtered air extraction is working all the time and still doing a good job: it is its 4 cycle but no smell detectable. Sorry for this very lazy diary. It's more for my use than for sharing or showing.
Oct. 1 - Day 84 from seed - week 4 of flowering. We continue feeding the plants the Hesi Hydro diet. The box is too crowded and branches are not so strong and thick. Roots are huge and spreading directly into the reservoir. This is not a Bubbleponics system and I am not sure it's a good thing to have the roots in the reservoir. I notice in one of this week picture some dots on some leaves.
Oct. 5 - Day 88 from seed - week 5 of flowering. We keep feeding the babies the Hesi Hydro diet. PK comprised. We start to notice that PH levels rise too fast in the reservoir. everyday, we must correct it, either by removing old and adding new solution, or by simply adding Ph-ed water or by removing , correcting and adding back in the solution. Clearly something is not right. We add another fan in the box to increase airflow.
Oct. 10 - Day 93 from seed - beginning of week 6 of flowering. We take a closer look at those leaves - they looked suffering - and we notice small black dots. Not sure what it is - mites or other fuckers like that - we decide to take immediate action: the same day we shower the plants with soft potassium soap and water and then with a mix of water/soft potassium soap for Bio agriculture/SMC Spider Mite Control trying to avoid flowers (almost impossible). We do this treatment immediately before the lights in the box go off for the night. In the morning we flush the reservoir, flush it with water for few hours and then we do a new solution (Hesi hydro week 6 diet) to put in the reservoir.
Oct 18 - day 101 from seed - week 7 of flowering. Last week of PK diet Hesi hydro Diet. Flowers look good, fattening (especially the Critical 2.0+) despite plants' chlorophyl attacked by mites. Two days ago, just before sunset, plants took another shower with water and soft bio soap to clean leaves from those buggers-fuckers. Then in the morning we changed the solution in the reservoir. PH keep rising with adjustments needed every day. Because of this, I feel stressed and look forward for this cycle to be over. We are gonna make it, plants are strong and they're almost done: I plan to start final flushing in 5-7 days from now. давай!
Oct. 21. day 104 from seed. week 7 of flowering. I forgot to mention that last week we added a magic medicine to our solution: water with garlic, previously left in the dark for 3 days. The smell was awful but and this seem to help a lot. over the last 3 days PH in the solution stabilized to normal levels. Daily adjustments are no longer needed. I feel very relieved and look forward to start final flush at the end of this week. I post pictures of the tent taken yesterday.
