RQS - Sweet ZZ

Gardener_of_Goodness The beginning! 24 hours in a shot glass of tap water followed by another 24 hours in a zip sealed bag and damp paper towel. A big fan of grape strains and a decent skittlez, this one ticks my boxes! Excited for growing with this lady, RQS strains are always a pleasure 👌 Great germination with a beautiful tail, straight into coco, perilite, vermiculite and a small dose of worm castings. A gentle beginning for this one with a daily light spray of tap water and now a little drop of calmag 👍

Gardener_of_Goodness A steady and quiet week for this little lady, a little leaf burn which I can only presume to be a result of a few temp spikes when the humidifier in the tent runs out. Currently planning on what training approach I have for this one over the next few weeks. I don’t want to interrupt it’s vertical flow but with a little bending and FIMing I believe I can achieve some even distribution of auxins. 5-6 decent colas would be optimal for this plant, let’s see how I get on! Gardener_of_Goodness A good week of growth for the little one, you can clearly see uniform structure development and healthy leaves, sting genetics and happy roots. I plan to supplement the feed with some root stimulant next week, I really want to establish a good system early on to ensure maximum health, quality and Yields are achieved. See you all next week! Gardener_of_Goodness Another week of good growth, bother vertically and in leaf dimensions, there’s a decent nodal spacing really displaying the sativa genetics in this one 😊 So tempted to LST but I’m going to continue to let her do her thing and reach up! I’ve amended the nutrient mix as I said I would last week and you can note the difference now the root system is establishing itself inThe 3 gal. Gardener_of_Goodness Well I just couldent help myself but give her a pull to the side 😆 Give those Lower branches a chance to catch up get get some respectable structure going on. Well she rewarded me with what I was looking for over the past week some great growth. Gardener_of_Goodness A great week for the Sweet ZZ, more height gained! Told you I’d see you at 50cm+ 🤪 Really happy with the structure on this one, tempted to flip but will leave another week or 2 so I can maximise veg structure development. No changes to the feed just some regular watering every 2 days, I think I’ll introduce some phosphorus and potassium soon get some flowing through easy for the flowering to commence. Gardener_of_Goodness Really sturdy growth this week, very happy with structure now so flip to flower has begun. I will slowly increase the feedings over the next 3 weeks to support her needs!
