Alongside the first week nutrient solution (E.C. 1.2 / pH 6.2) for watering the soil medium, I also prepared a foliar spray nutrient solution using B.A.C. Pro Active (20 ml./ 2lt.) and B.A.C. Foliar Solution (8 ml./2lt.), solution @ pH = 6,0. The foliar stimulant solution is applied 1 hour after dark cycle begins. For the main nutrient solution I am following the schedule provided by B.A.C. nutrients for Fast Food Organic nutrient as the central additive, I am not following their schedule strictly however. I am also using the Plant Success products together with Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice to create the beneficial microorganism environment for the plant root system. Also I use Hesi SuperVit as the vitamin/amino-acid cocktail just because I´ve always used it as a supplement for my grows. My soil medium is primarily Canna Terra Soil, topped off with a bit of Plagron Light Mix in order to fill all the cloth pots sufficiently(18 ltr. pot with 15 ltr. soil). I have a 600W hybrid grow/flowering bulb for autoflowering strains with a balast with regulated power, so at this initial stage the balast is set to 50% (aprox.-300W), at the end of week 2 I will raise it to 75% power (aprox. 450 W), and by the 5th week I will raise it to full power (600W) until harvest. Hoping for a great cycle. Peace.🙏
Boosted power to sodium lamp, to 75% total power, equivalent to aprox. 450 Watts, so up from 300W(50%) to 450W(75%). I am using an adjustable balast, that goes from 300-600W, it has a boost level of 110% but I usually just bump it up to 100%, the boosted mode seems gimmicky and probably doesn´t make a significant difference for the plants, not as significant as it does for my electric bill!!!
Topped all three plants and applied LST ties to outer branches, spreading out lower branches and opening the plants up slightly to allow for better more even light penetration.
Seeing some signs of deficiency, general yellowing. Specially in Plant A, this plant started flowering a bit earlier than B and C. It stretched a bit more and the inter-nodal distance is longer, also the flower pistils don´t have that newborn plump aspect, they look weak and lacking turgor. I am not sure wether this is a deficiency issue or if I´m seeing signs of nutrient lockout (the aspect of the flowers is what makes me think there are lockout issues at play). I´m going to do a flush of plant A and see how she responds. Plant B & C are looking much better but I am seeing early signs of deficiency, but this might be due to the transition to flowering.
