My original grow space was in a wood box I made in an unfinished basement and my problem was everything being on the cold side. Even with a 400w HPS in a 4x4x4 cube (that height was *so* limiting). So there's a good chance you don't need to fight the heat much, but all basements will be different. Good luck!
Minor note: the sf-4000 is ~400 watts, not 4000 watts. That will mess up your eventual g/watt ratio post harvest.
