So I was pretty happy to open the mail box to see my seeds had made it. Was shocked they made it here as fast as they did.
Thanks for the seeds and the extra seeds. You guys are awesome.
So I soaked a seed for 24 hrs and next morning when I checked it was cracked open and little root pokin out. Wrapped it in wet paper towel and set it in a sealed container for a few days and let the root grow.

Things didn’t so well last week. Had to start another seed but soaked it and put it it in rockwool. Think I’m going to wasting the time with the paper towel. Placed the rockwool cube into a bubble tote with rapidstart. I plan to transplant to dwc totes once it has more roots. Under 19 watt led
So my other plant in my bubble tote was showing signs of root rot so I transfer into my waterfarm system.
Hopefully it don’t affect her roots like the other one was starting to show root rot from water temperatures.

Well I’ve been absent for a bit and plants recovered was not sure if I was going to have to start some more seeds due to my mistakes. But things look better.
She’s really turned around and starting to take off. Bumped up nutes abit hope it is enough without having to add much throughout the week. Been trying to address the high RH. Hopefully I can get a Handel on it. A lot higher then I like.

Things seam to be going good. Seams to have not liked my bug bgon eco spray. Few leafs tips dried out and curled up. No bugs but trying to keep it that way. That’s it for now see what next week brings.
Things are filling out nicely. I’ve plucked all the lower nodes growing under canopy but left the fan leafs. Hoping it won’t shock or stress them out this way. As well hoping it helps stretch them to get to size in time for flower room. Some fan leaves so signs of not liking the bug spray I’ve been using I’m going to cut the strength back and see if that helps.
Things with moby have been going great no issue to report. I have been cutting all the new node growth and stopping at 13” mark, but have left all fan leaves to continue to grow, only had to recut a couple of nodes off that regrew back. I’m only looking to have nine shoots for a 3x3 scrog and hoping they will be 24 to 30” tall above scrog.
Since my other plant died. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get a plant to keep the room full when I flip to F. Well I had given someone a strain and he gave me cutting he had planted outside in the ground. Not ideal but was the only option I had. So I’ve dug this plant up got home and was transplanting to hydro dwc bucket. Went well for most parts, slugs did a number to it but only noticeable bug damage I could see and sprayed it a few times now. So it started growing but really slow and started pistoling up and switched to 24/7 lights. And are starting to revert back to veg. I’ve never transplanted from dirt to hydro but I have from hydro to dirt. Well we will see how this goes
The week has been good average about 2 inch a day lately. Roots are all over the top of the clay peddles. Stems are farely thick looking for the size of plant. Plant has three slower smaller tops out of the nine.
The granddaddy black that I transferred from dirt to hydro is slowly reveging. Looked the other day a roots have made it to res and little shoots starting everywhere. I’m hoping it starts taking off a little faster here as moby looks to be looking to take over it’s space.
Depends on how the ppm and ph have changed from the original level.
If ppm has dropped and ph risen slightly I would add the full line up to get it back to a slightly higher ppm than previously set.
If ppm has risen slightly and ph dropped I would add just water to get it back to a little lower ppm than previously set.
If the ppm and ph are pretty much the same I would just top it back up with the same ppm/ph level as previously done.
If the ppm has raised a lot and ph has dropped by a big margin I would empty the tank and put in a fresh mix as it would obviously mean the plants were just taking water and not the nutes, this is usually due to too higher ppm, tank is overdue a change or nute lockout.
Things have been going good. Granddaddy black has shoots with normal leafs starting. Never revegged a plant back from bud to veg before. Took about a month. Going to be pretty small plant.
Purple moby has been growing great. Fat sun leaves thick stocks. I’m thinking I may need to get one more tent for veg in the future After seeing how big moby has grown looks like a tight fit to have 2 plants. I’ve noticed one top has started growing 11 blades on a fan leaf.
