I just switched to cutting edge solutions mostly because I know the owner locally and talking with him, sharing knowledge has had a profound impact on the way I grow and feed. The 93 watt DIY Johnny #5 light is back for the start I tried a HLG 100 bloom light on them but they did not like that so I switched to something with more blue and they perked right up.
Week 3 wedding cake s
Watered two of the more mature ones on Monday total soak 100% nutrient
Accidentally knocked over the runt then 🐕 dog stepped on it. Replanet in smaller cup to try to control substrate moisture.
Tuesday reduce light to plant distance, increase tent air flow to reduce humidity. The runt made it. Water runt with 10 cc's of aerated tap water.
Wednesday Prep general hydroponics cocotek Coco brick 3 1 gallon pots, designate plants with a name so I know which ones are which.
Thursday transplant to fiber pot extend darkness by an additional 10 hours for root growth.
Friday water sundance 2 cups tap water
Topped mid week when they hit node 6, when I say node 6 I mean count the very first node above the cotyledons so i have 12 main branches to work with.
Added 100 more watts HLG100 bloom, IMO they need it to make the branches stretch, and we have hydo electric here so power is super cheap.
I watered once total 10% run off
All but two of the clones rooted. 4 of the best ones from "Sundance" (she is the best pheno type of the three) will get indoor grown again and the rest go to an outdoor greenhouse.
24 Hours of dark starts today for 2 of them. Some big thick hard buds and I'm worried about mold so I reduced RH to lowest I can get around 45 most times, peaking to 55. also I barely water them right before I take them out of bloom light I do 24-48hous of darkness. I have had great TEST results doing that on some plants so I just do it with all of them now. plants where flushed every day all week with non phed carbon filtered tap water (tap here is amazing comes from multi stone aquifer and has lots of natural cal and mag).
These fall colors are freaking sweet I just open the tent sit in there and read while taking in the sights and smells. It is hard to capture with just a phone camera.
Oh the smell is sweet when not disturbed and at night just smells like sugar/or maybe a brown sugar, when the lights kick on and you handle it a fruity candy aroma makes your eyes water.
