Smells and looks like in a snowy pine forest inside grow box. Doesn't feel like winter there, I am trying to keep temp. by +27C°.
We had bleaching issue in last week, solved it by lifting lamps till min 30cm distance to most of side colas - thanks everyone for your tips! Will lift more hanging the lamps directly on hooks, it seems the beast likes bigger distance.
She lost one cm of height cause she is bending backwards, will try to balance it out with weight of front colas. She is exactly 1 meter high now.
There are dew drops of amber resin on some of bleached leaves. Will take them under micro when they grown bigger.
Removed most of burned leaves.
Experimented with her diet by adding Ripen into Flower nutes for refills, seems she likes it. Will start to feed her with 50% Flower & 50% Ripen solution in next week.
Happy Grow all!
Currently I only got 2 x 50W / 5000K flood lights for veg and approx 150W / 2700K later for flowering. Both LED. Planning to keep lights close to plant - 35-45cm.
Do you think its going to be sufficient or should I get professional lights asap?
Dude I use led bulbs and they work great. The issue you have in your setup is that your light is more appropriate for a 2x2 tent (60cm x 60cm). Keep in mind that for veg you need 25 to 30 watts per sq ft at least and for bloom 30 to 40 watts per sq ft. IF you really want to take advantage of your DS 90 tent, you need like 250 watts for veg and 350 watts to 500 watts for bloom (I'm giving you rough numbers)
Hi all! I am using Waterfarm from GHE and I have set it up so the pump goes on and off at same time with the lights.
Is this timing OK or is it better to just run the pump 24/7?
I have no experience in hydroponic yet.
That is a drip system. In my experience, they're meant to run continuously. It's run by a simple air pump so running it 24hrs a day isn't going to use much electricity. Don't turn it off.
Found 2-3 fungus gnats in growbox. Growing Hydro. Have/know no adequate product against them. Installed sticky papers but of what I read on net - it doesn't help (larvas).
Your suggestion please! I have good range of products to choose from, would appreciate your recommendation!
Simply spray pyrethrum over the soil of your plants or on the roots if you are growing hydroponically. This treatment should be repeated about twice a week for 3-6 weeks to ensure all the hatched larvae have been killed. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.
Hi all,
new leaves on top of highest colas shoot out completely albino white with small green dots.
Later they become green, still with a white stripe/spots in the middle of leaf.
What could it be, how do I read it? Thanks in advance and happy grow!
Hi all!
some of higher green leaves are turning red. She has albino buds but only green leaves get this. It looks like pink pigments on leaf surface if you zoom in pictures and also under microscope. Doesn't look sick to me but what is it?
Thanks and happy grow all!!!
That is led light bleaching...no good for the plant. Basically the chlorophyll is all gone from the tops and they'll turn rock hard and become unusable. Looks pretty but is bad. Look up weed tops bleaching in Google for what to do 👍👊
Hi bro,
i think this white ends could be magnesium deficiency - it happens only under led lights, rather common thing, prolly something with light spectrum
Aha, funny, never saw anything like that.
It look like the little white chocolate piece decorating a beautifull cake ^^
I vote for albinism as said by @blackListed, just because the other suggestion (deficiency) make no sense to appear on top of apex, without appearing anywhere else. Genetic thing.
I'm curious to know how this will turn after harvest and after getting curred :) I'm following this !
@PurpleWorship, right, albinism rules! I think it might be not only genetics because they started to appear as I have played with lamp distance (approx 15cm) and they appear only on the highest colas. I guess it had to do with light. I also changed light schedule from 18 to 20, maybe a trigger as well. And yes bro, I am also soooo curious what it will be when she ripe and cured :)! Happy Grows!!
Hi bro,

@johnbut, right bro, I think I triggered it by very close distance to my LED lamps (under 20cm). Maybe it also needed a particular amount of stress - it was a bit higher temp and humidity as they started to appear
Hey,
thanks for using our products, hope you like it.
Some people already told you that it´s to close to the grow lights, that´s why you´re suffering bleaching.
Put one light 20 cm from left and the other 20 cm from the right. Keep it tilted as you have and make sure the distance is aorund 40cm. If the top flower is slightly closer it´s no problem, but try to keep it minimum 30 cm away. So you have the optimal light distribution for the branches below the top cola.
Hope this will help.
Regards

Thanks for great support and products guys! I think a big part of positive progress in this grow goes on account of this lamps.
Have adjusted my setup as you suggested (last picture) - top cola is still closer then 30cm to the lamps but it is better for her and side branches now. I can go maybe 5cm higher if I hang the lamps directly on hooks under roof but for now I would keep it as it is for couple of days and observe how she improves.
Got an accident, not sure if she survives it.
I left dripper constantly splash water on young leafs, now the first leafs look very damaged. Even if she survives this was probably a huge stress for her in first days...
I will keep watching her but will update less frequently in next days.
@Magic_frequency, it's from this guys: https://www.humintech.com/de/agrarwirtschaft/produkte/biohealth-th-bs-wsg ----> google for their products in your local shops bud ;)
Hey, thinking you know this by now... but these are not albino buds.. These are getting way too much Daily Light (PPFD should be FAR lower than typical flowering stage when running autos 20/4 in flower). The plant can only take in so much light per day, so if you are far exceeding this number (and possible exceeding Vapor Pressure Deficit you should look into that) then your plant will look very light stressed light this. my tip would be to focus primarily on optimizing the environment... Cannabis can grow very efficiently even when under significant stress, but only if its one light source is dialed in hope this helps
@@Blacklisted, Dude, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize u were such an expert grower. How do I learn to grow really larfy foxtail bud like u? I'm only in my first indoor grow, and sadly my buds are dense, compact, and full of trichs. Meanwhile, yours stretch so long and look weak and measly but wow man looks like so much weed (do u just turn it all into cannabutter?
Maybe its the phytolumens - https://www.blackdogled.com/blog/lumens-why-they-are-not-important
@@GreenGrows, guys you're saying same thing with different words, I understand both, thank you both!
There is no way to hang the lamps higher in tents available, it is my highest tent and lamps are hanging on roof right on hooks, no yoyo's.
I am thinking about dimmers, not ready yet.
Not an option to me using only one lamp on this plant. Peace all!
