End of Week 4, holy crap!
Plants started showing signs of potassium and calcium deficiencies. I think its because they were in mainly pro mix soil and only getting compost tea for nutes. Wonder if I should have started them off with something like FF Ocean or Happy Frog to get them going. I decided to transplant into my 15 gal living soil pots. They certainly look a lot happier so far. Going to back off the compost tea and mainly use RO water ph'd to 6.2-6.4. Also added some red wigglers and night crawlers to the pots.
Really hoping they begin to take off. 🤞
End of Week 5 and for the most part, the girls are growing well. The AC/DC is still having trouble, but definitely getting stronger. Cover crop (clover) is filling in a bit.
End of Week 6 and seeing some explosive growth. I think the weekly compost tea is working well. Was going to mainline/manifold, but opted to do some LST instead.
End of Week 7 and will be flipping to flower. Have moved the ACDC into a separate tent so it can keep vegging and to give these ladies some wiggle room. Seeing a LOT of foxtailing on the Blueberry, none on any other plant. Its been really hot lately, not sure if that's contributing to it.
End of Week 9 and even the ACDC is going strong. The Critical Mango is very robust and the Blueberry is maintaining. Did some light defoliating, not going too aggressive.
End of Week 11 and the plants are packing on some weight. So surprised by the resiliency of the AC/DC which is now HUGE. The Critical Mango was showing signs of P/K deficiency so I have been top dressing with Fish Meal and actually added some dried chopped up banana peels to see if that could help. Also did a compost tea feeding. Everything seems to be going well. Dealing with some fungus gnats (hate them). I didn't mulch as well as I should have. Still wondering about the efficacy of the cover crop (clover). Probably 2 more weeks til harvest.
