Hey Guys,
Starting this late season outdoor/greenhouse grow with a Mimosa Evo from Barney's Farm they kindly sent to me.
I was also gonna try tropicanna banana but the seed didn't sprout, gonna try another seed in a few days.
The soil mix is a light germination soil with mostly peat moss also added some silica.
As for nutrients I went with greenhouse seeds biogrow and enhancer and added some bacteria from agrobacterias, bactomatik and bactofil.
In just two days this lady grew quite well, off to a good start, really excited with this strain, gonna be my first sativa dominant.
Hey dudes,
She's growing really nicely, very healthy looking apart from a small botrytis on one of the flowers which I cut off, gonna monitor closely. Watered with enhancer.
Hey Guys,
On day 71 I had to move her indoors because outdoor conditions were gonna result in a lot of botrytis.
She handled to transition without a hitch and is completely healthy and growing these beautiful snow white resinous buds with an incredible "tropical" scent.
I think she will be ready in 2 or 3 weeks maybe.
Had some botrytis damage in the main bud, removed it to see if it stopped spreading.
Used a dehumidifier to reduce humidity in the air and see it if helps stop the botrytis spread.
Still waiting for it to dry properly to try it. Gonna update with a smoke report after.
Edit: After 14 days of drying I weighted it again and had a a little more weight on the top buds and the same on the small buds, I probably made an error in weighing the last time, double checked this time so the final dry weight is 69 grams!
Edit 2: Finally tasted these delicious buds and the verdict is very positive. I used a portable vaporizer and the flavour is just awesome, very intense, its a sour fruity mix with a hint of pine, awesome.
The effects are strong and you feel them right away though first in the body with a very relaxed feeling and then in the mind with a general sense of satisfaction and happiness, it's quite a mix between indica and sativa really. Both times I tried it I ended up getting super super sleepy after about 30 minutes.
This lady started off as an outdoor grow but the rain and humid weather forced me to put her indoors under a 250w HPS a little after the flowering started.
Overall it's a very nice strain, beautiful aroma and taste, it survived a botrytis attack with only a few grams lost and still managed to give a good yield.
It's definitely a good strain to grow and highly recommendable.
