SEEDLING WEEK 1, NOT VEG. I'm breaking the rules in order for me to have a more detailed log. >:D This is my first time growing this plant, however I have some gardening experience, but never indoors. Growing it for my wife as I rarely indulge, and for a hobby :) 24/7/20: - Started Germination (water, then paper towel) 27/7: All 4 seeds germinated. Put them into 60/40 prebuffered Coco Coir and pearlite blend. Watered each plant un ph'd spring water each. 28/7/20: Watered each plant 30ml un ph'd spring water. 29/7/20: 2 Seends have "popped" from the coco. Lights on 24hr/day. Raised humidity to 70%, Watered 30ml un ph'd spring water to each plant. 30/7/20: 3 Seeds "Popped". Watered 30ml un ph'd spring water to each plant. 31/7/20: Starting nutes tomorrow. 2 plants have their first "true" leaves, one has just the cotyledon leaves. One cup still did not pop yet, going to cull that one as I only wanted 3 plants anyway, it game me a big of wiggle room for error. Humidity was a little low, so I raised it. Watered each plant 60ML unPH water, nutes start tomorrow. 1/8/20 - Inflow PPM:153 - Outflow:122 Inflow EC:260 - Outflow: 221 PH:6.2 - Outflow:6.2 First day of nutes. 1ML each of Advanced Nutrients Micro, grow and bloom per gallon. 2ml of calmag per gallon. Light doses, will up slowly. All 3 have their "true" leaves now, and are looking healthy and growing daily. Covered the light on the humidifier with tape as it gives off a subtle light at night inside the tent. Average temperatures are 23.5c day and 21.6c night. Humidity remains around 70%. Lights now at 18/6. See yall next week :)

The girls are growing! They've been out of the coco for 8 days. All of them developed their 2nd set of true leaves this week. Upped the nutes slowly this week over time. Doing a foliage spray of calmag water ph'd to 6.0 basically every other day while I keep the EC of the daily water low. Still using distilled water to get the most out of my EC and PPM numbers while the plant is young. I must say, growing this plant is particularity straightforward. Most of my problems so far have been getting the tent perfect. I would love to invest in a inline fan that activates based on temp and humidity, but I dumped enough money into this tent for this round of growth, so im stuck with using one on a timer. Aside from that, everything is going well. Hope you all have a good week. My daily notes are below for those who are interested, they're fairly boring, mostly keeping them for my records. See ya next week! - 2/8/2020 - Watered all until lots of runoff. pH outflow is a little high, dropping inflow pH tomorrow to 6.0. Aside from that all look healthy. Increasing nutes slowly throughout the week. EC Inflow - 312 / Outflow - 345 pH Inflow - 6.2 / Outflow - 6.5 PPM Inflow - 125 / Outflow 155 -- 3/8/2020 - Watered at lights on until runoff. Sprayed a foliage spray consisting of only calmag water an hour later. Temp was a little low at lights on, 19 Degrees C. Second set of true leaves are starting to show they want to grow. New clip on fan arrived from amazon, this will be used for the top of the canopy when they can handle it. EC Inflow - 358 / Outflow - 405 pH Inflow - 6.0 / Outflow - 6.4 PPM Inflow - 170 / Outflow 185 -- 4/8/2020 - Watered each plant with 33% of the pot volume. This will be my new daily watering amount until the roots develop further. Did a foliage spray later that day. EC Inflow - 369 / Outflow - 381 pH Inflow - 6.0 / Outflow - 6.4 PPM Inflow - 175 / Outflow 185 -- 5/8/2020 - Had a busy day and didn't have time to do water measurements. It was the same water i mixed yesterday, so I imagine it's identical. -- 6/8/2020 - All 3 have their 2nd set of true leaves. pH is starting to drop towards 6, where I wan't to keep it for the rest of the grow. Did a foliage spray. EC Inflow - 383 / Outflow - 452 pH Inflow - 6.0 / Outflow - 6.2 PPM Inflow - <notest> / Outflow <notest> -- 7/8/2020 - EC is now approaching 500 slowly. 2nd set of true leaves exploded with growth overnight. Raised the lights a couple of inches, they may be a tiny bit too close. They're now 38" away. (3.1 ft) they were 34" away previously. EC Inflow - 453 / Outflow - 450 pH Inflow - 6.0 / Outflow - <notest> PPM Inflow - 216 / Outflow 224 -- 8/8/2020 - It appears I have overwatered slightly. Going to down my watering to 60ml as I had no problems when I watered that much. EC Inflow - 450 / Outflow - 469 pH Inflow - 6.0 / Outflow - 6.0 PPM Inflow - 216 / Outflow 232

Hope yall had a good week! The girls sure did. Everyday I take a peek and do my daily watering and they're bigger than the day before. Upped the PPM's to ~400 this week, kept the pH at 6.0, and upped the Calmag. Also picked up "B-52" for some root health. Gonna use it on some other plants in the house as well (I grow veggies hydroponically year round). The plants are starting to give off an odor if you smell them up close, pretty neat. Work was a bitch this week so I missed one day of watering, flushed the plants and seems no damage done. Don't wanna make many mistakes like that but its bound to happen. Here's my boring daily notes for those interested. Have a good weekend and I'll see ya next week. ------ 9/8/2020 - Now that the plants have a proper root system and a stronger stem, I aimed the clip on fan at the plants on low. Humidifier is getting annoying to fill everyday, looking forward to when i can dial it down a bit. PPM - Inflow: 350 - Outflow: 423 pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - 6.1 10/8/2020 - / PPM - Inflow: 350 - Outflow: 440 pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - 6.1 11/8/2020 - /Missed/ 12/8/2020 - forgot to water yesterday (16 hour shift). Went about 18 hours between waterings. The coco was kinda dry so I flushed it first with ph 6.0 water (120ml) - then watered the usual amount (75ml) The outflow numbers were acceptable so no damage done hopefully. PPM - Inflow: 398 - Outflow: 460 pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - 6.0 13/8/2020 - / PPM - Inflow: 390 - Outflow: 454 pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - 6.1 14/8/2020 - Bought b52 by advanced nutrients. Suppose to assist root and stem growth, got it really cheap at the hydroponics store. PPM - Inflow: 398 - Outflow: forgot to test pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - forgot to test 15/8/2020 - Final day of the week, wiped down the walls and bottom of the tent w/ vinegar&water solution. Cleaned the humidifier. Going to be topped early next week. Wife's digging the grow so far so good brownie points ;). See yall next week PPM - Inflow: 402 - Outflow: 446 pH - Inflow 6.0 - Outflow - 6

Holy shit ladies and gentlemen, another week of 2020 gone. How ya doing? Sleeping enough? Don't forget your vitamins. The ladies had an eventful week. I transplanted them into large yogurt containers on Monday, and topped them today (Saturday). They will live in the yogurt containers until they go into their final 5gal fabric pot, I was going to transplant them into the fabric pots but I wanted to give them a bit more time in smaller containers to save myself a bit of time with heavy watering. When I transplanted them the roots looked phenomenal. Grabbed all the stuff I'll need to start LST, and I looked at ton of diary's to get a grasp of common methods, as a first time grower it helped a ton. Been doing a calmag foliage spray every other day (more or less). Anyways, that's about all I have to ramble about. Below are my daily logs. See ya next week -------------- 16/8/2020 - Gave them a calmag foliage spray today. EC - Inflow:1255 - Outflow: notest PPM - Inflow: 627- Outflow: 450 pH - Inflow: 6.0 - Outflow: 6.4 H20 temp - Inflow:notest - Outflow:notest 17/8/2020 - Transplanted into yogurt containers. Flushed the coco (new coco) until it read close to the original numbers. Roots looked great. EC - Inflow: 1255- Outflow: 962 PPM - Inflow:627 - Outflow: 450 pH - Inflow:6.1 - Outflow:6.4 H20 temp -22.4 Inflow: - Outflow:22.2 18/8/2020 - Did a calmag foliage spray at lights on. EC inflow: 1280 - Outflow: 1130 PPM inflow: 640 - Outflow: 573 19/8/2020 - pH was a bit high, still in the safe zone but something to keep an eye on. Probably from the transplant. Looking ready to top in the next couple days. 4th node has grown in. The seeds "popped" out of the coco 3 weeks ago today. EC - Inflow:1287 - Outflow:962 PPM - Inflow:642 - Outflow:487 pH - Inflow:6.1 - Outflow:6.4 20/8/2020 - Did a calmag foliage spray at lights on. Grabbed some rubber plant ties today for LST. EC - inflow: 1280 - Outflow:1130 PPM - Inflow: 640 - Outflow: 573 21/8/2020 - / EC - Inflow: 1290 - Outflow: 1200 PPM - Inflow: 645 - Outflow: 590 22/8/2020 - Topped the ladies. You ever heard the phrase "I like growing more than I like smoking"???? Well, I'm the epitome of that, I smoke a few times a year, When I do smoke I get high the way you all did in high-school. BUT he wife's happy. And when shes happy, everybody's happy. But, enough about me, lets talk plants. TONS of new growth this week, and these sexy ladies are now in their final pots! I expect a huge amount of growth from here on in. Next time I wont wait so long to transplant, it probably slowed my growth, but it is what it is. I've basically just been watering them everyday and keeping up with my LST. If anyone wants to critic it down below, please do. Some of the fan leaves are crazy large, like 8" long. on a 6" plant. Dropped the humidity this week to around 55%. I used some small laundry bins to make it easier moving the plants for their daily watering. One plant is particularity smaller than the others. I assume this is due to genetics since they all have identical conditions. Next week I have to go out of town for work for 4 days, gonna mix the nutrients and instruct the wife of what to do. I'm not worried, she'll do great. 👽My nerdy daily notes are below. Have a great weekend, yall! See you next Saturday! Thanks for taking a look. 23/8/20 - Did a calmag foliage spray < No testing done> 24/8/20 - EC: Inflow:1280 - Outflow: <notest> PPM: Inflow:614 - Outflow: <notest> pH: Inflow: 5.8 Outflow: <notest> Water Temp: Inflow:<notest> - Outflow: <notest> 25/8/20 - Re-buffered the coco in the 5gal pots to prepare for tomorrow's transplant. Ran pH 6.0 water until runoff ran between 6.0 and 6.3, then did a final watering with regular solution and a tiny bit of extra calmag. EC: Inflow:1334 - Outflow: 1020 26/8/20 - Transplanted the girls into their forever homes. The roots were THICK and strong. I've never seen such thick stems on a small plant. They were about as thick as a toothpick. If I had help with the transplant I would've got a photo. The transplant went well, I'll start my LST this weekend, unfortunately too busy currently. EC: Inflow:1350 - Outflow: 1120 PPM: Inflow:670 - Outflow: 561 pH: Inflow: 6.0 Outflow: 6.1 Water Temp: Inflow:<notest> - Outflow: <notest> 27/8/20 - Outflow pH is fairly high, probably due to the transplant. Not worrying about it, keeping my inflow between 5.8 and 6.2 EC: Inflow:1340 - Outflow: 437 PPM: Inflow:650 - Outflow: 225 pH: Inflow: 5.8 Outflow: 7.4 Water Temp: Inflow:<21.6> - Outflow: <22.4> 28/8/20 - Lots of new growth this week, working on my LST daily. pH is still a little high on the outflow. Did a light calmag foliage spray. I dont really have much to say this week, I've been out of town for work since Sep 1st and looks like I'm probably going to be stuck here until the 8th. I got the wife to water the plants and now that I'm away longer than expected mixing nutes as well. I'll definitely need to LST when i finally come home. I got her to snap a few pics for the week, I'll see you next week when I have more to say! 30/8/2020 - Topped the tallest plants 2 highest nodes to hopefully allow the other 2 plants to catch up. Added a 120mm computer fan aimed at the sides of the pots for some extra airflow around them. Upped the nutrient water to an EC of ~1500 (Plus / minus 200 because fuck being that specific), it will remain there for the rest of veg unless the plants show signs of deficiency or burn, probably going to do 2-4 more weeks of veg depending growth rates. What was suppose to be a few days turned into working out of town for 10 days. Wifey did well taking care of the plants and I now have 2 weeks off so hell yeah. I was a bit worried they would be unruly but with some LST and defoliation I'm keeping them growing nice and short but wide. Will need to buy a small dehumidifier for flower. Speaking of which, flower starts Monday(12 on & off), theyre just over a foot tall, and if they double on height ill be pushing it waiting longer, allthough i would love to. Thanks for looking, see ya next weekend 6/9/2020 - 9/9/2020 *Out town for work* 10/9/2020 - Finally home. Defoliated lightly, worked on LST since I didn't work on them for a long time. FLOWER POWER.... I switched to 12/12 on monday (the 14th). I wanted to grow them out a little longer, but with my 5' high tent I didn't want to push it too far with the stretching, especially on my first grow. Now i guess the real challange comes. I think the girls are slightly deficient in magnesium, purple stems and a tiny bit of leaf decay. so i'm upping the water solution of calmag and doing foliage sprays again, I didnt do foliage sprays for over 2 weeks. 13/9/2020 - Did a cal-mag foliage spray today. Didn't test the inflow/outflow. Flower starts tomorrow. (12/12) <notest> 14/9/2020 - Today marks an interesting day of my first grow - Today we start 12/12. I will do another light defoliation tomorrow, keep up with my LST for a little longer, and up the bloom nutes. I topped one node on each plant today, that will mark the end of topping. Hopefully within 7-9 weeks we will be done our first grow! I've ensured the tent is completely light proof, I had a few pin sized leaks that I cover with a sheet when I'm done my daily maintenance. Dropping humidity to around 50% slowly over time. Outflow ppm was a little high, might do a slightly lower dose tomorrow until it drops a bit. Second week of flower, preflower pistils have all appeared on all 3 plants. They're still stretching everyday and I stopped LST. A clip on fan fell on one of the girls, she lost one of her main stems. Upping nutes to ~1600-1700 ec next week, i think she needs some more Phosphorous. Aside from that everything's going well. See ya next week, thanks for looking. 9/20/2020 - Did a calmag foliage spray. <notest> 9/21/2020 - The girls are getting more thirsty. Lots of stretching happening. Any idea what kind of deficiency this is? Theres no bugs in the tent. Detailed info on my numbers are in my diary. Its my first grow but it appesrs to either be P or K to me. Thanks in advance. They're on the bottom of the plant, on all 3 plants.

Hey Growmie, It's a phosphorus deficiency, this is what it looks like in the later stage of the deficiency. flush your plant with clean, pH’d water that contains a regular dose of cannabis-friendly nutrients that includes phosphorus. This will remove any nutrient salts that may be affected by the uptake of phosphorus. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

This was quite the week. I ended up realizing that I had a P deficiency, and that the lower foliage was pretty rough. I flushed the medium and upped my bloom nutes. Since doing that things seem to be better, but I'm keeping a close eye on things. I also ended up cutting one plant because it began to hermie, it was the one who had the fan fall on it and cause havok. None of the pollon sacks released pollon, so I should be in the clear. I felt extremely sad to exterminate one plant but it is what it is. In doing so I also realised from here on in I'm only going to grow 2 plants at a time. On a more positive note, the buds have began properly developing, so there's that! I didn't record my data this week for my log, but i did test almost daily. I'll get back to the data next week. Hope you are all happy and well, I will see you next week! Thanks for looking!

Another rough week, my outflow ec has been off the charts so i started watering twice daily. My inflow target is 1700-1900, my outflow has been around 2400. The buds are developing slower than they should so im hoping that twice daily watering helps. Anyhoo, the trichomes are developing okay albeit. Really respect the talent of the growers on here. Flower has been hard for me but were getting through it!

With twice daily watering the EC has slowly dropped all week (data below). Plus, the buds are growing again after spending a week with very little bud development, theyre dense as fuck, but small still. I switched up nutes this week too because I'm running low on Advanced nutrients and my hydroponics store didn't have any left, so i grabbed their own brand. I'll probably stick with it too since its cheap, assuming we have decent results. Still learning a lot everyday, gonna change a bunch of shit for the next grow, but I'm hoping I can get at least a half decent yeild from these two girls. I'm going to invest in a mars hydro light soon, to finish the grow off. shoutout to budXs for his hate on bluple lights, and his dope new apprentice program lol. anyways, thats all I got, ill throw some data below, thanks for lookin, see ya next week Oct 12th - EC: Inflow:1650 Outflow1:<notest> Outflow2: 2600 pH Inflow: 6.3 oct 13th EC: Inflow:1640 - Outflow 1: 2500 - Outflow 2: 2310 pH inflow: 6.4 Oct 14th - only watered once today.. This has been a great week for the girls. I've finally got the EC under control via twice daily watering. I probably should have started that 2 weeks ago, fucking amateur. 💩 lmao, anyways, added some Mycorrhizae/microbial supplement and a bloom booster this week as well. The buds are dense, like, really fuckin' dense. But not large. They've been growing quick this week though. They smell pretty good, lemon and berries, i installed the carbon filter monday.👻 I've avoided fungus knats all this time but they made it in there, i noticed a few on monday. Bought some Nematoads from a garden store, expensive solution, but i've delt with them before with indoor veggies and I know the nematoads will fuck them up in the larval stage and they will disappear quickly. Hoping to harvest the first or second week of November. All the tri's are clear right now so its just the waiting game. happy wife happy life boys. See ya next week, thanks for taking a look. Data below for the nerds. cheers. PS - hey if you made it this far, do you guys usually do a flush at the end? If so, whats your method I'd love to know. Cheers💪 --------- Oct 18th - Still getting my nute numbers down pat with the new nutes. today the EC was a little low, and I was lazy so I let it be. EC: Inflow:1100 Outflow1: 1570 Outflow2: 1535 pH Inflow: 6.5 oct 19th - inflow EC back to 1900. The smells are really coming in now, I installed my carbon filter today. EC: Inflow:1900- Outflow 1: 1730 - Outflow 2: 1870 pH inflow: 6.2 Oct 20th - Everythings going smooth again, outflow is in a normal range and the plant looks happier. I bought some mycorrhizae to finish the grow off. From now ok it will be a staple in my grows after looking up what it does. I also bought some bud finisher, its the brand of my local hydro store. I'll be adding as much of that as it takes to get me to ec of ~1900 from my base solution. EC: Inflow: 1900- Outflow 1: 2120 - Outflow 2: 2020 pH inflow: 6.3 Oct 21st: EC: Inflow: 1800- Outflow 1: 2100- Outflow 2: 2040 pH inflow: 6.5 Oct 22nd: EC: Inflow: 1800- Outflow 1: 2050- Outflow 2: 1945 pH inflow: 6.4 oct 23rd: EC: Inflow: 1800- Outflow 1: notest- Outflow 2: 1900 pH inflow: 6.5 oct 24th: EC: Inflow: 1820- Outflow 1: notest- Outflow 2: 2070 pH inflow: 6.4

Week 14. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

I had to cut early after one started to hermie. I cut probably about 2 weeks early. The hermie could've easily been my fault, or genetics. I yeilded 56.3 grams of bud dry, and a bunch of sugar leaves and tiny buds. The bud is pretty good, and the nugs are dense. Nugs on one plant were more dense than the other which is fascinating. I got one ounce per plant almost perfectly which is fascinating. Probably would have doubled that if i didnt cut early.

I had to cut early after one plant started to Hermie..... I couldn't cut it and dry it elsewhere so unfortunately I had to cut them both to dry them in my tent. I wanted to go another 2 weeks on them but so it goes. I learned a lot and will definitely change some things next grow. All and all, I would say this was a mild success, but in the future I'll apply the knowledge to the next grow. I will start another grow in about 2 weeks. This site was great, thank you all for the positive comments. I'll update this after the dry and cure.

@BudXs, We made an agreement, I could setup a beer brewing rig in the garage if I grow her some pot in the spare bedroom. haha

Nice grow man. Instead of Mars Hydro lights have a look at QB LED's. I have a Kingbrite and Meiiju myself, you will get a better light for less money

I agree 100% that growing plants, any plant, is magical! Cannabis is extra magical and it sound like your reaping the rewards of having a green thumb! Nice details for your grow!

One of the five I planted was a slow starter and smaller than the others as well! She fortunately did not suffer the ph imbalance or flushing shock and I have put her outside to flower in the sunlight. She may have been small but she is definitely one of the prettier plants and has a super nice smell.
