Keep it neat! Took out the rack and gave them a trim. Using pipe cleaners to keep an even canopy. Will reduce nitrogen later this week since they’re ultra mega green. Reducing MagnifiCal to half as well.
Nutrient problem started on purple kush. Leaves near base are yellowing. A few have brown tips curling up. Lights are 15-18” above the plant. Good air circulation. Water is at 6.5PH. Nutes going in around 800ppm. I cut out remo micro and doubled bloom and astroflower this week.
Hey there GardeningDoug, sorry to say but you have a magnesium lockout, you can tell because you're seeing magnesium deficiency which is when the serrated edges of the leaves start to yellow but you're also adding a lot of calmag. Probably you're watering the plants with the same solution and not taking the time to mix it, the order in which you feed might have this plant simply recieve a bit more calmag than the rest over time this adds up and you can get a lock out. Try resetting the soil by watering carefully and evenly until the moment you're seeing runoff, measure how much water that was then add 20% more to get run off. that's a flush , then just start your exact same feeding regimen after 10 days, just be a bit more careful this time. I stopped messing around this week and went back to following Uncle Remo’s nute schedule. Performed a flush on the Purple Kush to try and fix the Magnesium lockout.
The hindu kush has done amazingly well with only foxfarm ocean forest soil and a sprinkle of generic granular flowering fertilizer when I flipped it.
Yes i just wanted to let you know i was dealing with them for awhile and just could not get rid of the bastards naturally. Anyway i ended up puting maybe a half inch of play sand the stuff you get at the hardware store. Instantly gone dude just like that only thing is i was useing organic dry nutes and i had to switch back to liquid nutes because i lost the abilty to top dress but it was totally worth it for me.
Hey, I have the same light. It's no longer my main light but I use it for peppers and lettuce. That light isn't powerful enough to have it dimmed during flower. I'm not sure if you dimmed it just for the pictures or not. If not, you may get a much better yield with it up at least to 80%. Cheers, much love
