Started the Hydro Units in starter cubes that we PH'd to 5.5. Also ran unit until it was PH'd for 24 hours then put cubes in units. The plants in soil, I started the seeds in water and planted the tap root into this soil thats made to accelerate root hemp, perlite, and cocoa. I will use those pots until they are ready to transplant. I planted the seeds in soil before we made our homemade bubble ponics unit thats really working amazing.
This week was about moving plants around to where they do not stretch, adjusting the light. I lost half my plants in soil to some type of mildew or mold in the bag. I am keeping these away from anything else until I figure out how to solve this, but 3% peroxide until the ones in soil can be moved or reported and then I will.
How do others recommend hydroponics, will I get a better yield if I start my seed in a Rockwood cube in the hydroponic sight it will grow in the plants entire life, or should the veg stage be grown in soil and transplanted, what makes best roots and result?
