First indoor grow, using environmental control measures. Will be Topping and LST, since it's an (and my first) auto, appreciate any input on lighting distance/timing for heavy quality yields.
Using a 60/10/30 mix of Coco coir/ Perlite/Roots Organics soil blend, with mycorrhizae added once weekly during watering.
Will be using Heavy 16 Veg A/B for basic nutrient feedings after true leaves appear, at 1/4 strength for first feeding.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
@GrnSmkAssassain,the flower development seems amazingly quick to me. Mine have been flowering about as long, but are behind. Might be the lighting that's making the difference.
I just started following your grow. Nice little ladies you have there. I have some questions, please. You are growing the blueberry in a plastic covered, 15g, box. Why? Secondly, why aren't you doing the same thing for the tangerine dream. Finally, I thought you weren't supposed to top autos, but you did very, very early. The pictures show that they didn't seem to mind, but I was curious as to why.
@GrnSmkAssassain, Thanks for the reply. I'd like to follow along and see how this all turns out. You have some interesting ideas, and I'd like to see the results. My current grow is several weeks from being done. You are giving me some ideas for the autos that I am going to grow next.
@Quexos, I had a friend tell me about the benefits of using a grow box so I figured I'd give it a try, so far, it's excellent.
Space/light limitations prevented me from using 3 growboxes, which I'd much rather use now.
I like to experiment with every grow, decided to top at the 4th node on the blueberry, she has recovered and is now accelerating veg growth.
I've been following this grow since before I joined up, thank you for your service. Keep up the good work brotha! She is taking her time to flower proper but she must be getting ready for a reason. My tangerine dream started showing signs 3 1/2 weeks in.
