This is the second outdoor auto batch of the summer containing five pineapple express and five royal dwarf.
In addition there was one nothern light auto and two auto shorty's as freebee/promo.
All where germernated in moist kitchen towel between two paperplates in a plastic bag, placed on a temperature stabil aquarium.
Two days later all but one auto shorty was with root up to 7-8mm.
The sprauds was replanted to peat moss soil with a twiser and the last seed spend two more days in the bag but still no change.
In the end it was left in a corner of one of the other pots under a pierce of peat moss from where it witin two days was gone.
Every night the tray was under a IKEA 10w grow lamp indoors to give stable temperature and longer days.
The royal dwarf was never able to penetrate the shell with leaves after being planted or it never had the power to really try.
Old seed is my conclusion.
Replanting whent perfect, and not a single sign of stress.
All but one looks healthy with good size. The last one also pictured as "Bottom range plant", a Pineapple Express seems to suffer both in size and colour and then one seem to have started to bloom after one set of leaves.
In general the plants does show slight signs of marbling and im confident the replanting came at a great time for all them and they will all be in pristine condition again soon.
Im not sure what have caused it, to wet, PH, too little nutrient, to much or daily change of light type, what do you think?
Might be to early to tell and maybe I wont have to now with their new 11l soil buffer less stressful light.
I have also changed nutrient and already the day of replant given them a dose for small plants (5ml per 10L water) accordingly to instructions, a little extra diluted though.
From here im giving the precise right amount at every watering.
Im using rain water that seem to have a PH of around 6.3 but for now im limited in my PH measurements so it might be lower but not higher.
Day two of the week i received a hydroponics stimuli kit as im soon to start such a project.
That gave me the chance to try the
Rhizotonic for my newly replanted plants. I had already given them the Short Bloom powder as planned but whent ahead anyway also spraying the leaves anyway knowing it might not be as effective now the plants where fed.
Tomorrow im not gonna give any nutrients but keep going with the rozotonic.
Also with the kit came a better PH scale for testing confirming ~6.3
End of week some first nodes ready for removal without harming plant.
one plant had a servere lice attack in one spot but they could all be squeezed before the plant suffered any damage.
PS. All but one plant picture is taken at the same time shortly after replant at the start of week two.
start week three, really looking good and allready many first nodes removed.
Lots of sun almost heatwave very different from last weeks cold rainstorms.
Here lacking towards the end all first and second node pairs removed.
I have been happy for the Green house short flower powder and used it for everything so i expanded the range to do better coverredge for the same price.
Ive started to notice slight upwards curl along the leaves, so i cut down a bit with nutes and holding a little back with watering.
in early stages if anything its difficult to diagnose but its easy to see and fix a lag of nutrient so better cut down to see respons than risk a burn.
Also typical here between 2and3 week is going from watering just the plant to make the whole pot absorb. Leaves like that could come from to much water.
Last idea is the heatwave we are having in both last cases my idea is its r3acting by trying to get rud if more water.
I have been a bit on the heavy on tge nutes also gave them a PH boost along with some foilage boost.
Still no veg on Ms Bloom and she cant stand the nuts any longer so i moved her. Proberly wont be loong before i completely remove her.
Tried green house PK booster and was carefull to read instructions and watch videos. But still I managed to do a complete calcium lockout (with magnesium) in one plant and a few others also showing signs of in more or less degree.
If not using tap water this product needs green house calcium!!!
The day after i spotted it i got some calcium and started to treat both withe spray and in waterings.
After a day i think i got it under control but alot of damage had already happen. Never in +10years have i seen such a fast disaster evolve do be carefull with green house booster!
This was the week MsBloom had to die as there was no chance of veg.
Startet cold and wet, stunded growth for days. But they are buffing up slowly again.
The auto shorty looks nice for garden grow directly in soil next spring.
Canna booster is given as foilage feed everynight it does not rain.
To protect against cold and help metabolism despite. I believe it contains fulvic?
One plant whent straight to bloom and another veged oddly and also whent in to bloom early only yealding 6.6grams.
Resistance might be a little below avarege.
plant 3 21g
plant 4 17.5g
plant 5 16.5g
5 plants was grown along with 5 royal dwarfs, and no doubt the genetics are getting old or my seeds was.
The other three plants where all different in color and size but yealded as exspected.
No more pineapple express for me, this was my forth grow and i have seen alot of them and also hear about people getting the same problem.
I really feel time and money wasted on those two plants as i know :(
