28.7.2020, Day 0, seeding day: setup as usual (see below). Soil was watered, seed planted directly in the medium in the final pot, light 18/6, fan on, ventilation on.
1.8. day 4, first leaf, 1cm

14.8.20, day 17, 8cm: I've been away for a week, and everything went fine. The automation works well. She's growing without problem, as expected.
17.8.20, day 20, 12cm, topped down to 10cm
2.9. day 36, 30cm, doing well. low maintenance.
7.9. day 41, 42cm, first flowers appear. forgot to pull up the lights - some tips might be burnt, but she grows well.
10.9. day 44, morning, 53cm, leaves are hanging !? Pulled up the lights again. Maybe too much moisture. Tried to reorient the fan to increase ventilation.
10.9. day 44, evening, 57cm, everything ok again
12.9. Day 46, 63cm, doing fine, the temporary (few hours) hanging leaves during two days were probably only due to the fast growth.
13.9. Day 47, 65cm
17.9. day 51 73cm, leaves are still hanging at the end of the light cycle, but she recovers over night.
19.9. day 53, 74cm

I'm still a newbie (about 10 grows) but after trying different strains, this is my favourite for the moment.
Easy to grow and reliable high yields for my setup.
I can't say much about the taste: I'm not smoking, so that I water-cure and then boil my weed in a pressure cooker until it is nearly tasteless and decarbed, and make chocolate of it. (My personal improved recipe based on JeffThe420Chef's butter - a big thank you, Jeff!!) No weed taste or odor, and just a single piece is already perfect for relaxing in the evening.
13.10. I waited until end of the 11th week (I start counting on seeding day), so that also the lower flowers had cloudy trichomes - the uppermost flowers then already had a few golden trichomes and most pistils are golden.
Put it in a pressure cooker with Aqua dest for water curing and storing until I have time to cook it...
15.10. Morning... Home office ;)...I water cured it 2 days in a pressure cooker (changed water after 24h) in aqua dest and now boiled it about 3h with 3*water change (so in fact about 2-2,5h). Had to stop before my cleaning lady shows up :) Put it back in aqua dest for some more water curing.
... Evening ... dried it completely in the oven (90 min, 130°C, down to 15% of harvest weight 144g -> 20g), but that's too dry and brittle. Would dry it less next time. The drying barely smelled.
Stored it in 2 jars with one boveda62% pack in each.
16.10. dissolved 2,5g weed in 50g cocoa butter then mixed it with 25g cocoa powder, 25g icing sugar, 4g vanilla sugar and 2g lecithin and poured out in a silicone chocolate bar form.
28.7.2020, day 0, seeding day: This time I will grow 2 Diesel Automatic side by side.
As before: My target is a simple, reliable, low maintenance grow, allowing for a few days absence.
I only use solid organic nutrients mixed to the soil at the beginning, and none afterwards. Autoflowering strain. HomeBox Ambient Q60. Automatic watering with AutoPot 15L 1Pot Modules. Hazelbeam 2 270W LED lights with 18/6 timer. The only thing I need to do is Topping after about 20 and 30 days, and a little LST afterwards depending on the strain (only dwarves or similar < 90cm).
Up to now this gives me ca. 20g per plant every 10 weeks (85-120g freshly harvested), with minimum investments. Perfect for integration in family and work routine.
Grow medium:
800g (3.2L) BioBizz Light Mix
+ 223g (3.2L) Perlite
+ 150g Flo Organics (www.florganics.de)
Fertilizer mixed in lower half of soil.
