not alot happened this week,other than the baby root finally showing itself and hitting the water in the rez. Hoping to see some growth this week with the addition of nutes,but they're still babies. Went with ¼ strength nutes as a starting point. Fighting low humidity,got another humidifier coming soon,as I've gotten sick of wetting towels all day. Lights will move a bit closer next week some of the others are still to little to get closer still. Temps are good! Stay tuned✌️
I am impressed with the amount of root growth she had this week. Still fighting low humidity, humidifier will be here in two days.😁 roots are a nice healthy White. been dropping the lights 2 inches every third day. will be adding a CFL here shortly as well. patiently waiting for that explosive growth to transfer to the foliage. Got her first foliar feeding. looking good so far stay tuned!✌️
I'm going to stay on week 3 Nutrients but I'm going to up them to full strength. I wish these roots weren't all tangled up like that but they're definitely increasing in mass and thickness. my humidifier finally showed up today 4 days late but at least it's here now. nice tight internode's. all in all a good week. I'm happy stay tuned folks✌️
had a real bad case of slime takeover. running her with a tiny bit of Base nutrients. Also added hydroguard. not sure if she's going to pull through. Only time will tell. lost the pictures of this line so couldn't post them. let's hope for the best folks. if she does up and die it won't be the end of the world I have some mephesito to get up in there so not a complete loss✌️
as you can see she bounced back nicely from the first attack of this slime. I've been fighting this stuff for 2 weeks now. Grown tired I'm scrubbing disinfecting and dumping nutrients down the drain, and mixing up a new batch everyday. By my next update she will be nestled firmly into some kind of soil, as I don't have time to play with this anymore. don't want to completely lose her I love how the buds are purple right from the get-go. Finally got my bucket completely light proof.. I've seen very little slime in the last week, decided to leave them in there and see what happens. Starting to form up some resin, and getting that dark devil smell. probably not going to yield much but should be some fine smoke.✌️
Finally had enough fighting with that slime. Cut cut the net pot open dropped it in a 3 gallon pot of soil. Fox Farm ocean Forest Coco and perlite. didn't want to completely lose her. Starting to resin up, not going to yield much but will be enjoyed✌️
Turned out to be one big cola.glad i put it into the soil afterall,I was gonna just toss it. I took away all the additives except bud xl and mammoth p,and i gave the top shooter liquid one more week then flush time! ✌️
starting the flushing process now . thought I was going to lose her when the dwc went bad glad she pulled through. Should be done right around 70 days. Hoping she starts to fade but maybe be to many nutes left in the fox farm soil✌️
She is also on a straight water flush. I have not seen one amber trichrome on this plant yet the thrich stalks are super purple,heads are all clouding up. She has been spitting out new white hairs hopefully cutting out her food will hurry her up a bit.✌️
Going to continue with straight water for this girl. Seeing a bit of amber now but some thrichs are still clear waiting on some more to cloud up at least. Again from being about dead in a failed dwc attempt she grew funny from all the other dark devil I've had.nice solid plant though her buds are not fluffy and airy like most dd are for me.✌️
She will be getting the chop here this week. Love how she is dripping with sugar! Both of my dark devils had sugar drinks this grow! Gotta love that. Been waiting for this girl to fade but I think the soil has to many nutes left as I switched from the dwc. She is about 60% amber so stay tuned for harvest!✌️
Daytime happy smoke. Nice sativa giddy type high no paranoia.plant leaking drops of sugar all over it. They taste amazingly sweet and I love seeing them.
This plant was almost dead in a failed dwc grow threw it in some ocean forest just to not loose it. Grew different from any dd I've ever grown fat buds instead of long and whispy. Needs a longer cure has a wet hay smell im not sure of... But damn them sugar leaks rocked!✌️
I had the same problem as you with slime in my first DWC grow. To make sure it doesn’t come back you need to put some beneficiall microbes in there to eat the bad stuff. Worked great for me. Have a google and if you want to try DWC again give the microbe tea a try.
Hello. On your week 5 of veg, on your first picture, there is yellow spots on one leaf. What is it? I have the same sometimes and im wondering if its dangerous or normal. Im at my first grow. Thank you.
@Tabarnak,that plant had slime all over the roots and was on its death bed. I hope that is not the case for you! I can tell you most problems are ph related. Best wishes
