Seed germinated in glass of water until dropped (12-hours).
Seed placed in plastic bag with moist paper cloth for 48h (until seed sprouted 1cm).
Prepared Coco Choir by flushing it in PH corrected water 2 days before planting.
Seed planted into small containers and set inside a grow-box for keeping high moisture, Im only using my two light strips (3219K @ 10W),
ill keep it at that until i plant over in bigger pots.
Watered with filtered water (0,3 MS EC water with a PH 5,6) - Added 10ml/l Rhizotonic for stimulating root growth,
this raised my EC to 0,6 and my PH to 6,3 which is fine for now.
The Jack Herer sprouted 8 h after seed hit the cocoa, and it seems fine so far.
The Early Miss sprouted after 20hours.
About my setup:
This is a full size and pretty new Samsung fridge that had a defect compressor.
I ribbed it inside, washed it a couple of times and disinfected it a couple more.
When it was all clean and shiny i mounted diamond pattern mylar sheets to all the sides and the door using 3M double sided tape.
The fridge is hermetically sealed in every spot, and i have used sealant around every inlet outlet. The black gaskets are not leaking any light either,
so it is impossible to see whats going on from the outside.
The fridge has the following equipment:
*Horticulture 135W QB V2 R-spec
*2x 10w Light strip from a local hardware store.
*Ventilation setup with thermostat controller and an efficient carbon filter which reduces the odour from the inside.
*Inlet fan (80mm) using a cloth filter to block bugs and dust from entering.
240mm pc fan moving large masses of air really slow around inside the cabinet.
*Hygrometer to see the current environment moisture.
*Wifi camera, so i can check on the girls while at work.
Im trying 2 plants to begin with, Im not totally sure if the space is big enough, but ill just perform LST and use nets to make the best out of it
For future upgrades on this grow, ill might get a auto grow pot system.
