Hi everyone. In an automatic, how do I know when the plant is in the flowering phase? Can I decide it? And above all, how is the administration of nutrients managed? In this crop I am using Biobizz products. sorry for my English! Thanks :D

Flowering- you will know this when she starts growing many pistils in the top and the branches inbetween the fan leaves and the main stem. Nutrients- start at ⅛ indicated potency then climb to ¼ then ½ and after that try giving full dose. Its how i'm doing with veg nutes and stims, i would say do the mix like that and then start with using 200ml mix, then 300ml, 400ml, depends on how she is reacting. You have to be very carefull with nutes.

Hi everyone. I wanted to know if I can start the lollipopping technique on my plant. But above all, what are the branches to be cut? Is there a guide or someone who can help me? (ps: look at the latest photos that i've uploaded) Thank you very much and happy growing to all!

I would top it and do some LST (light stress training). I generally will lollipop my plants around the 3rd week of flower and what I do is take all my lower flower sites off the branches eliminating the popcorn nugs to allow all the plants energy to be focused on the top main colas. Happy Growing

Northern light came into bloom this weekend. It was treated only with the LST technique. Fat Bananas grow. One is growing naturally. On the second, however, the topping technique was applied. Some advice? Better to remove some leaves? If so, which one?

Just the bottom ones that don't get any light (account for future growth that will cover up even more the bottom leaves) and if you can by removing just 1 leaf manage to get light penetration into the whole central part of the plant (where the buds are at), that would be a good one aswell (check my Sweet Gelatto number 2), and its said that by removing just a few healty leaves at the very beggining of flower, the plant starts to spend even more energy into bud production and doesn't produce as many leaves redirecting that effort into fatter buds. (Check my haze outdoors, only producing bud and just a tiny bit of folliage, got 4 stems growing filling with bud and very little leaves). Good luck growmie, defoliate safelly, don't overdo it.

Hi all growers, today I did the usual check and after 48 days, I noticed some problems. As you can see from the photos, some leaves have these defects. What could it be? The rest of the plant seems to me to be fine ... what do you think? Thanks to those who will answer me.

dont stress too much, your plant looks fine and you are doing the right thing by picking that stuff off, you want the plant to have healthy happy growth, i recommend checking your ph at the bottom in the run off, add kelp to the plants diet and cal mag, looks good so far, so dont panic yet,

The trichomes in Fat Banana # 2 have turned amber, time to flush? They changed overnight. I would not want to ruin the plant because it is the best of the three.

When you are checking out Trichomes make sure you are not reading off a leaf, and are looking dead-on in a bud, the trichomes on leaves amber faster, I like to be at about 80/90% Milky with about 5% Ambers but that is just me, my wife likes more ambers, to flush or not to flush, misconception in my opinion, when I hear flush, I think of folks pouring massive water through the substrate to rinse out salt-based chemical nutrients, something to also help lower PH, growing organically like you are doing and using BioBiz to control the microbial life in your soil, I would not flush, for me the last few weeks I tend to move away from BioBiz, and just feed H20 PH at around 6.2 sometimes adding a small amount of BioBiz Fish Mix, your soil is loaded with life and for some Autoflowers, less is more. I feel you have about another week left, your spec on this is Flowering 49 - 56 days / give or take.

At least 2 weeks. The pistols are all predominantly white. The trichomes are still clear—- don’t judge the amber on the sugar leave but on the buds. Give it some more time

Some rotting stuff around the buds is always bad. I had to throw away around 50% of my outdoor plant yield this season :( In this case it's always better to be safe than sorry. I would remove all the infected parts and keep a close eye on the plant. Nothing is more frustrating than a little bit of bud rot spreading and ruining your whole plant, or even worse, your entire yield when stored together with healthy buds. Good luck!

hello friend, you're doing great. as for the trichomes you have to refer to those you find on the buds and not on the leaves. your buds are still small, you will see that in the next few weeks they will become pretty big. I therefore advise you to continue with the nutritional plan, maybe is better stop to give bio-grow from now 🙃

@Newbie_01, thank you so much for the advice my friend. I doubt that I have photographed the trichomes of a leaf (you told me in 2 people). And actually I struggled a bit to photograph ... tomorrow I'll try again.. The main top is 16 cm long and 4 cm wide

your plant looks great it is doing what it is supposed to do, during flower you will notice some changes in her, starting with the leaves, the bigger fan leaves will yellow and die off, all normal during flower esp. if the plant is getting little to no nitrogen, you want to remove nitrogen from the diet when in flower as you want those buds to get bigger each week. your plant should focus on the bud sites, so your on the right track, pick off the dead looking stuff and that helps the energy of the plant to go where it should, the buds. great job so far, she is looking real happy and healthy
