My baby started week 2 (day 12) I ve added 4 ml each MGB and immediately measured PPM and read 300. I got one litre from the res, diluted the nute and poured it back and mixed well for each type of nute. Lux reads as 8000. • 16 Aug - She starts her 14th day with additional 4 mL MGB (total of 16.5 mL MGB for 16 liters. Immediate PPM reads as 360, pH reads 5.9 Lux reads as 8000. • 17 Aug - She starts her 15th day with another additional 4 mL MGB (total of 20.5 mL MGB for 16 liters) Immediate PPM reads as 430, pH reads 6.1 Lux reads as 10000. And I raised VJ concentration from 0.25 mL/L to 0.50 mL/L • 18 Aug - I lowered the lights until Lux meter reads 17000

Grow Questions

Pochettestarted grow question 4 years ago
I don't know how this works, but let me try. My seedling looks almost the same for the last 3 days. Is it ok? or it is a sign of something I do wrong. She spent 1 day in the bucket at 24 degrees Celcius (75F) Is it called a shock or stress?

She's developing a root system right now. As long as the leaves are growing, she's fine, no worries.

How the hell th pH level can rise from 5,8 to 6.8 in 18 hours? temp var 27 celcius, right now it is 18 C. Does it make this much of a difference?

Well, pH will increase as temperature decreases, but that seems like a big jump. Your feed hasn't become more alkaline though (if it's caused by temps), the neutral point on the scale moves along with temperature as well. That is to say 8 might be the new 7. More likely scenario is you must recalibrate your meter. Or when you originally measured it, your reservoir wasn't thoroughly mixed enough. I'd get it down to about 6.0 or so and keep monitoring.

This pH pen sucks ass! I've purchased calibration liquid at 7.0 and have done calibration for both pens, and prepared another 4.0 solution. one reads 3,8 the other one reads 4,3. My range is already 5.5 - 6.1 = 0.6. How am I supposed to deal with this?😡

Not sure, i paid 44€ for my ph pen, i know there are a couple for 10/15€ but i would assume that a 3k€ car to not be as safe as a 22k€ car whenever they crash. I can't know about those from experience but if you calibrate and they still give out different readings of the same solution- 1° there may be different density nutrients mixed into the water and as u split it into 2 cups one gets more of the less denser liquid and vice versa. 2° the ph meters may just not be reliablr, but you can use those as if it was a wife and a mistress, each with an opinion but both probably wrong. 3° you can not really care about 0.5 of a missreading because if you feed at a value where both of those read the same liquid as a value inbetween 6 and 6.5 then you are more likely for the value to actually be in that range. Stay lit and grow good shit growmie.

Looks perfect! You won't get a good answer about counting days. But the best way is as follows: DAY 1 VEG: when the seed breaks the surface of your medium DAY 1 PREFLOWER: when the plant begins its stretch DAY 1 BLOOM: when the stretch ends, this is when you want to begin bloom nutes For purposes of this site, I consider preflower a part of veg. This is because it's hard to tell when preflower has begun until the second or third day and also it's still on veg nutes. I consider flowering to be when it's ready for bloom nutes, which makes things fit together nicely.

This photo is her 21st day. Somehow i kept ppm at 430, right now it is almost 500 ppm. I think i screwed right? And thats why it is so tiny for an auto fastberry. I would really appreciate if you check my diary out and comment.

I don't see any kind of deficiency. Auto hit a growth spurt and 3-4 weeks. So if you have corrected your feed amount you are looking good. Happy growing.

Is it time to LST? It is her 23th day. Why does it still look tiny to me? Leaves look healthy. Res water is at 700 PPM, 5.6 pH How do I know that she will start flowering? Thanks y'all.

Give it until week 6. If nothing by then, consider switching to 12/12. That bean may have lost the auto gene somewhere along the way. It happens.

Congrats! You got a female plant. You can start flowering nutrients next week. Start at a low % and slowly increase until reaching 100% nutrients. Happy harvest!!!

My roots look almost perfect but these leaves? Is it due to pH fluctuations? Should I remove them? There is only 5-6 of them.

It's your tap water.. Read your local water report.. Find out how much Calcium you have in your water.. If your at 150 ppm from the tap... It's probably got a lot of Calcium in it to begin with.. This is caused by calcium excess and can slow down your growth.. Ph problems display up top. Fluctuations aren't bad anything too low or too high will cause visible damage.. But if your checking daily...

Autoflower, DWC, Week 8 Roots are too bad? I also added the most recent photo of the main cola. Looks fine right? She has many stained leaves though. And why is my pipe green? Algea? Is this the cause for my roots? All comments are apprrciated this is my first ever grow.

So if you have no amber, then you definitely have at least 2 weeks to go, 3 weeks would be my guess. Good news is she should still pack on a really good amount of weight between now and then. In the last 3 weeks, the first 2 are the most productive for flower swelling. The last week is mostly ripening. You might not notice much for size difference, but she will definitely be adding density. I would say 50-80g depending on bud density.

Time to flush? I don't wanna be late for flushing. I'm planning to flush for 3 days. Almost no amber, and no clear trichome heads, mostly the stems of trichomes are clear but the heads are cloudy. It's really pain in the ass to take photos with the microscope.

hi i would say looking at the pictures you got maybe 2 weeks left if that so lets say 10 days, on the 8th day do a flush, it will take a 24 hr flush in dwc. so i hope this helps, she is looking great and yeah i agree with trying to take pictures that way big pain

I can't really tell from the pics, but the calyx structure and bud looks done. The trichomes from what I can see are nice and milky. A lot of times amber trichomes will come in during the curing process as the plant continues to mature as the cannabinoids isomerize. If you have an Iphone, you can get a decent trichome shot by getting it focus as close as you can without zoom, and then zooming in. If it were me personally, I'd give it another week, checking trichomes the entire time.

I made several mistakes like; - overfeeding with Cal-Mag - Lightburn - Physical Damage - Algea in the pipe. But can you diagnose what's the major issue? How can I prevent it? Yet the yield looks quite good. I dont know what to think.

Google leaf septoria. It's a fungal infection on the leaves that spreads.. you just need to be proactive and remove the leaves before it spreads to other leaves.. if you can.. clean your tent with some bleach. I wouldn't it use the leaves for anything sadly... In my findings this is the most overlooked issue and is actually more common than overfeeding. If you go outside look at leaves in every tree.. you won't find one without it

Rusty leaves I cannot fix. I am having difficulties identifying the problem, what is the issue? I feed it with AN MGB, Big bud, cal mag, my ph is perfect, reservoir is clean and temp is OK well oxigenated. And today I added B-52, and Nirvana 0.75 ml per litre

If this is a lower leaf, I'd be more inclined to suggest this was an excess of potassium because of the way the leaves are curling at the edges and also the intraveinal chlorosis (the very light vein in the leaf blades). Have you noticed anything else such as really short internal space or anything?

That looks like an excess of phosphorous or potassium. Also looks like a calcium deficiency. But i don't grow in hydro so i don't want to be saying its this or that, but could be either of these , if ph is perfect. If you gave it calcium and its still appearing in new folliage, then its a lockout due to too much P or K. Wait for more advice before picking an answer, it might be something else. Stay lit growmie, and good luck.
