Shagrath New run started and this thime it's sativa dominant strains only. Here we have Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 and 1/2 from the original 2 sprouted so the other one is ~week younger but I think it should not matter that much

Shagrath Week 3 from germination The other girl is growing in really strange way and it looks like there is no new grow sites coming and I popped two more seeds but neither of them germinated so I think I will pluck that weed out pretty soon and continue with only one plant from this strain and 5 all together in the tent There is lots of pH swings but I reused the clays so there might be some leftover stuff but I'm sure I'll work it out soon

Shagrath Week 5 from germination One of the newly planted seedlings died and I think it was due too low humidity maybe. Now I have two Arjan's Ultra Hazes and I think it is enough for now Added some Calcium nitrate and 6-6-25 fertilizers and now ec is 1.5 and pH seems to be stabilizing to 6.4 just like in the last run. I'm using beneficial bacteria and some chelates so I wont be bothered from the pH that much

Shagrath Weeks 5 & 8 from germination This week I flipped the switch to 12/12 and did some preparations for it. I defoliated the girls and spread them out more. Also I sprayed liquid kelp to speed up the flowering and shorten the stretch. CO2 will be added from now on too and I'm using 10kg bottle and controller to maintain 1300-1500ppm levels during lights on. Added more lights so now total is 480W from quantum boards in the 2x4 tent with 8 girls.

Shagrath First week of flowering She started to flower pretty fast and it has been one week after 12/12 and the stretch is happening but I'm trying to control it with seaweed and intense lights Little bit deficient from magnesium but nothing to worry about yet

Shagrath Week 3 of flowering I defoliated the girls earlier this week and once again I did not take enough even tho it was half a shopping bag from the whole tent.. 😅 Girls bounced right back up like nothing happened so I'm removing more foliage in a few days. The other girl is looking kinda strange and shes stretching in a weird way and I'm thinking that I've used too much of something and also I managed to bleach the tips last week from too intense light. Changed the lights to 10/14 for a while 'cos two of my girls in the tent are not flowering properly and they are stretching like crazy. Gonna switch back when everything's normal again.

Shagrath Week 4 from flipping I just realized that I most probably messed up with the seeds and in this diary the other is not Arjan's ultra haze #1 but something else. At first I thought I messed up with using too much hormones or something but now that the other girl in the back is starting to flower I figured that, that is the real sativa and the girl in front is some other strain. Most probably Strawberry amnesia Have been supercropping and defoliating her 'cos that stretch surprised me real good! I started to measure and control the pH again just to see how they react to it. Rez water dropped from 7.9 (wow!?) to 7.1 and tomorrow to 6.5 and then to 5.5-6 and I let it be after that again

Shagrath Week 5 from 12/12 Setup: I adjusted the wattage of flowering lights in the diries to each strain according to total wattage/number of plants of each strain from total Tent & Lights Sinowell 2x4x7 1 x 240W Quantum Board with far red, UV and IR 2 x 120W Quantum Board with far red Growing medium 80l water reservoir with timered pump to lift water to root zone 65l root zone filled with hydroton Finally really flowering but looking too damn pale... Might have to give some nitrogen by foliar to her 'cos my rez is already in flowering mode (lower nitrogen) She stretched like crazy and I supercropped her maybe 3 times and bend her to the side to control the height. These REAL sativas surprised me with how differently they actually grow but I still hope to get good yield out of her

Shagrath Week 6 from 12/12 Flowers are producing very slowly and she looks kinda sad with that pale green/yellow shade. I gave her little bit of calcium nitrate and kelp as a foliar feed so maybe she'll perk up soon

Shagrath I accidentally mixed up the seeds real bad when germinatin so my diaries are kinda mixed before this post but here are the details of my current run Setup and Plants 7 in total 3/9 Psicodelicia 2/9 Strawberry amnesia 1/9 Arjan's ultra haze #1 1/9 Lemon power haze Sinowell tent 2"x4"x7" 1 x 240W Quantum Board with far red, UV and IR 2 x 120W Quantum Board with far red Growing medium 80l water reservoir with timered pump to lift water to root zone 65l root zone filled with hydroton Week 8 from 12/12 This girl has been deficient for very long time and I'm not exactly sure how to proceed from here... I have changed the water of the reservoir to lower the ec and lower the potassium levels if these are causing lock out but still shes suffering. Sativas are not that easy to grow it seems. I hope to get atleast decent buds out of her 'cos she is the one I waited the most tbh

I'm diluting my rez this week again to maybe help this one to survive until the end. The buds are growing really slowly and I think she has like 5-7 weeks left to go if she can make it that far

She looks kinda sad but I will ride her out and she might still give me maybe 30g of buds so no need to kill her purposely. She surely is taking her time to develop and I believe there is still atleast 4 weeks to go and I kinda hate myself for letting this plant get to this condition but theres always another try tho.

I believe this is due to the foxtailing that has been happening. I stopped the water pump so the root zone will dry out and the plants will suffer in their last days to maybe help them push just a little bit more potency to those buds before cutting them. She has been growing for a really long time but finally it is the time to chop her and see how the real sativa burns 😈

Happy Harvest Day!

Growing her was not that easy and I messed it up in flowering and she suffered greatly. The stretch was much more than I anticipated, atleast tripled in height and I had to do supercropping few times. The buds are fluffy but big and without LST there would've been huge donkey dick in the end. The high is mellow and it makes me happy with nice energy boost so it is good stuff during the day when you still have shit to do. This is not strong stuff at all so it is good for low tolerance smokers too!

@DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity, Thanks for dropping by and yes of course you can say your opinion on this! I know I didn't give her enough care and you can see the results but the pics makes her look much worse than it actually is.
DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity
@Shagrath, I'm sure they do those long stringy sativas don't usually look very good once dried. I mean if you know you slacked off that's something :). Pictures don't do something justice.. I had a couple plants on my last go that looked nice and big but the turn out on the Terpene profile was lack luster at best.. Growing is really complex and not so easy :).

@Smokwiri, hopefully not, hopefully he saw how even @Med_in_Tropic can grow better looking buds in a wet outside dumpster than him.

Hey man is that a typo 69 W LED for flower? I hope you do not mind if I offer some pointers to help you out on future harvests friend! So cannabis plants love heat and humidity, The buds hate it. In veg we want to exploit that fact and run temps of low 80's in veg with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we expose cannabis plants to temperature swings beyond 10 degrees when the lights go off we will make them stretch and we do not want that. We want to grow nice tight plants with good tight nodal spacing. Once we enter flower temp control becomes even more important as through a lot of experience we have found buds that are grown through flower at temps beyond 80 degrees will be big, But they will be very airy and prone to foxtail. Big buds are nice but density is where we get our weight from. If we are smart with our temperature management we can achieve the best of both worlds. Up until weeks 2 or 3 of flower we run 80-82 lights on & no more than 9 degrees less when the lights go off. Once the plants finish growing vertically by weeks 4-6 of flower depending on the strain, Then and only then do we want to begin to open up that temp gap. As before the genetic response to stress of this manner would cause the plant to respond by stretching now it will instead signal the plant to put extra energy into the budding process and resin production. This combined with lowering our daytime temps to mid 70's we will get nice, Dense caked craft cannabis-looking buds. If you do not have them already get yourself a thermal laser gun like the fluke 62 MAX & a PAR meter to help you read your plants and get the most potential out of your plants. I recommend these to all growers, Also if you have not done so study VPD, Vapor pressure deficit, and how it relates to growing cannabis, There are good charts online you can print off and follow on a day-to-day basis.
