Day 9 update;.
Watering/stress damage still making her curl up more, but apparently she don't care and is still growing fine.. As long as that continues, I'm not too worried, and hopefully there won't be any symptoms on the new leaves.
- Had to replace an inch of the top soil today. A white fungus started growing..
Day 10 update;
Nothing really to report today.. Still growing pretty fast, even with the damage from overwatering.
- Seems waaay short, compared to other grows of this strain, that I've looked at. Not that I'm complaining, I like short bushes over larger ones.
Day 11 update;
No real change today..
Day 12 update;
Still growing nicely.. Hopefully it's stopped with the whole curling leaves now. Will probably cut the most damaged ones tomorrow, as they've started showing signs of damage, other than curling up. Don't want it to waste energy trying to fix something unfixable. But it's depending on how they look tomorrow.
day 13 update;
Morning; There's a "heatwave"currently, where I live, so I knew that the temperature was a bit on the higher side.. Ordered an ice washer online, and they fucked up so sent me a free thing to measure temperature as an apology.. Definitely not the best quality, so not sure if it measures correct or not, but I've updated for now.
- Just cut the damaged leaves, as the plant seemed to have given up on them, and just drained the nutrients they had left, and they were clearly dying off.
Night; It seems to have taken nicely to removing the leaves, so hopefully it'll be back to the fast paced growth it's been so far.. Also repottet one of the others, so raised the lamp another 10 cm,, so maybe it'll get a little extra hight on it as well, it's still really short so might measure it tomorrow, as well as give it a little water for the first time in a week.. soil is pretty dry now thanks to the heatwave going on.
Day 14 update;
Afternoon; Just replantet... I have two other Quick Ones next to it, all 3 with stress damage. Cut the leaves of another and replanted it yesterday, and it's growing faster than before, while this one almost came to a halt. So I took the chance and moved it to a 10 liter fabric pot instead of the shitty ceramic one I was using, with no drainage.. Unfortunately, I failed to realize when I put soil in the ceramic one, that it had edges on the inside, for some dumb reason, and the bottom of the rootnet got stuck in it and was torn off.. tho, it was the begining of it being rootbound, but damage is still damage.. Hopefully it likes the new soil, completely new compost straight from the recycling facility, and my fertilizer is done and should be ready for use, so I'll add a tiny amount tomorrow, not that I think it'll need it with the new soil, but it'll likely give a good boost of nuttients for the roots to recover.
Night; Last update of week 2 I suppose..
- Looks like the plant have taken a liking to the composted soil, even tho I absolutely fucked up replanting it. Measured it to 4.5 cm tonight, tho I'll probably not update that til tomorrow at the start of a new week..
- Light is back closer to the plant, since all of them have the new 10 liters fabric pots, and I didn't bother to raise it, so a approx 26 cm from soil level.
- I like the fabric pots, they seem pretty good quality.. Material seems like it'll survive for a long time, tho that could just be because they're completely new, and they might breqk down quickly due to absorbing water, who knows.. They were like 1.5usd each...
- Well, End of week 2. Hopefully week 3 will have less stress and a lot more growth for when they're expected to start flowering in week 4 or 5..
- Also, they've begun to have a very strong smell of growth.. Tho there's a faint breath of resin mixed in, dunno why, but it's absolutely enjoyable. (Or it could be my nose getting it wrong.. Been 10 years since my last grow..)
@@CUBULATOR,
Neither of them have set more sacs, since I put them outside, Just pistils for the flowers. So I don't think they're genetic hermies. If they were tho, I'd complain to RQS instantly. <.<
I hope your plant produce some very nice looking buds, with a lot of potency!
I added a picture of the 3rd one as well.. Same strain, no sacs at all.
@Justa_Retard, I have one plant that looks amazing I found a few things early they were very small but I thought they would turn to herms so I plucked them. I would usually chop her up but I want to see what bud she produces. So we both need some luck 💪
@Justa_Retard,they look like true herms not bananas so I would say genetics , your plant naturally can take alot of stress it's a plant. Obviously stress could have played a part , but if it wasnt bad genetics It wouldnt hermie.
@ChitownCannaChica,
Mine did flower early due to stress, and it had PH problems during flower as well, so yours is gonna look a lot better than this one, once it takes off. ^_^
@MrJones,
They don't really have a choice. xD
- People in my country, throw out a ton of garden waste during summer, and the only place to get rid of it, is recycling facilities. So unless they want to burn it, which would counterproductive when we're forced to pay a lot of "green" taxes tO sAvE tHe EnViRoNmEnT, And the resulting soil takes up a lot of space, so they have to get rid of it somehow. lol
If you want composted soil, just put a 1x1x1m container somewhere in your garden and fill it with waste from your garden, like dead flowers, leaves, stems, etc, etc... My dad does that so he can breed earthworms for fishing. lol.. You can probably buy some earthworms online to start it out as well.
- Just remember to stir it around once in a while, or it'll grow mold instead.
@Justa_Retard, mixed up my diary's again, that is totally cool that they recycle and make compost, I would surely use that, wish they would fo that in Michigan!
@MrJones,
Yeah, definitely no coffee yet. xD
- I'm not using anything from Roots Organic.. Didn't even know it was a thing till you just mentioned it. >,.,<
I'm using composted soil from the nearest recycling facility.. They just compost other peoples garden trash and put the resulting soil in a pile for other people to collect for free. Tho I do mix it with some perlite.
