I started this seed on my work bench because my tent was full of flowering plants. I knew I had a long time for veg so I messed around with topping and lst. Being under such weak lights kept the plant fairly small until I could get it in the tent.
I realized recently that I am actually having a phosphorus deficiency. It may explain why the buds don't seem to be getting larger. I'm also seeing some nute burn (nitogen) from the iguana bloom. It's weird a complete bloom formula from advanced nutrients would have such low phos levels and high nitrogen. Should've known better. I just topped dresses with gaia green power bloom and hoping for the best. She's not suffering by any means, it may just mean a reduced yield. These little buds though are frosty as fuck❄️❄️❄️
It appears that the power bloom I added last week has already provided the bit of phosphorus the plant needed. The signs of deficiency have halted on the leaves and I can see there are some new pistils forming on the flowers. Hopefully this indicates that the buds will swell up a bit more. Looks like it will be a couple of more weeks for this one.
Day 60 of flower and it appears all trichomes are still clear.
Just started week 19 from seed. 67 days of flowering and the trichomes are starting to indicate ripeness. Took a good look and I'm seeing about 2%amber on the buds. The rest are cloudy with the exception of a few clear where new random pistils have formed. Going to give probably about 36 hours darkness. Not really sure it does anything but why not at this point. See you all at harvest time.
After roughly 36 hours darkness she got the chop on day 69 of flower. She is trimmed and hanging to dry in the tent at 55% rh. This plant produced small buds for me but they are super frosty. I will post harvest result in a couple of weeks.
This plant grew fairly easily. Had a bit of a deficiency at one point but just never got very big for me. I've seen other growers pump out some big buds so I'll chock it up to experience. The buds are dense and have a heavy coating of resin. The strong dominating scent of pine underlined by a touch of sweetness is very strong. After smoking some of this I felt alert, clear and happy and surprisingly this didnt give me insomnia like some sativas do. It's a good time and I highly recommend trying it out.
Week 1-9under 46 watts of cfls while other plants finished in the tent. Very slow growth as expected.

Buds ended up fairly small on this one. still trying to figure out this organic growing method. I think my soil may have been to dense as well as some other minor issues but overall the plant was very healthy just not big. The top buds are a half decent size but all others are about thumbnail size. They are all nice and dense though. She was very healthy throughout other than what I think may have been a P deficiency during flower which may have contributed to flower size as well as using metal halide for light. I was very surprised though by the trichome coverage. The only thing I've grown that compares was the og kush from dinafem. I'm expecting that this will be fairly strong stuff.

@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, I'm on the leds now. My last grow with the double grapes was with a couple of vipar spectra boards. They did a great job and there were zero heat issues.
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, this is one of my favorite strains now and is my wife's absolute fave. This one was grown under a 250 watt metal halide. I had an hps but it was just too hot for my little tent.
@indoorontario, Hey, can't hurt to bump bloom additives a little bit at a time and see how she reacts. My Dutchy didn't really start to fill out until then end either, so I have faith she will put on some weight👌. If not, the buds look fantastic and the quality is there brother👍. Reminds me of my space cookies. Small buds, not a tonne there, but allllllll gold😉
@JinksyGrows, I'm interested to see if she can pack on some weight at this point. I think she may be a little phosphorus deficient. There is still new growth on the buds every day though, so, fingers crossed🤞🤞
