As you can see on the pictures above, the Gelato had some sort of light stress going on.
I didn't get rid off it, even after letting her dry out entirely and putting the lights higher.
So i just went on as usual. However, the plant didn't hesitate from growing well, developing lots of trichomes and smelling like CRAZY!
Can't wait to smoke her.. 😍
She didn't really have a big push in W10, unlike the other ladies.
I also think I could've easily given her another 2 weeks but I wanted to harvest her alongside the Blackberry and Zkittlez..
I think the smell of the Gelato is outta this world.
It's really hard to describe and unlike other Gelatos I had before.
Maybe it is a special pheno? Or a cripple/mutation (very very light sensitive) with a unique and special trichome profile?
She is very gassy right now, not too much of a sweet/gelato flavor.
Can't wait to test her!!!
After the 36 hours darkness, the Gelato showed once again that she wanted more time.
I didn't give her time tho, time to kill and soon consume my baby!! 😈
White pistols and foxtails started shooting up.
She still looks good to be harvested..
I really don't know what I'm most excited about right now.
The wedding cheesecake and the orange sherbet that still grow alongside the Pre-98 Bubba are also more than interesting to watch. Just a little harder to grow, little sativa-divas!
I simply love Gelato since the first time I've smoked it.
Now, that I got my hands on this genetics, I'm super happy!
The typical Gelato vanilla smell is coming through already!
The first test smoke was really impressive, big headrush and a long stable body stone after a couple minutes.
My honest recommendation!
Happy with the result.
The nugs got a very good trim as the others from the grow.
I like the shape and the density, the overall frostyness and how quickly the nugs started smelling like Gelato after a week of cure.
Besides the little deformity/mutation of the leafs throughout the grow, everything went fine. It appeard as if she had light stress/overwatering all the time, which couldn't be the case.
But it didn't decrease the crop nor the quality.
I am experiencing the same weird mutation of contorted/twisted leaves. It's calming down as plant matures, I'm also getting 2 polyploid branches that have 3 tops on each branch. Hope mine turns out as frosty as yours, about to start feeding it Fish Sh!t👍
