This plant I'm not sure about. It has a great structure, I expect to get a pretty decent yield off of it (nothing groundbreaking) but it's a little more sensitive to light and the stems are making this smell I can only describe as Vicks Vapor Rub. Not exactly pleasant, and I hope that changes soon or she might just become hash once she finishes. Who knows, might be a great smoke, we'll see. She's dealing with a bit of yellowing from light stress so I moved the light back a couple inches.
Added some pk 13/14 to the feeds this week to speed up the transition, and it seems to have worked. The smell has grown on me, and this plant is looking like it's gonna make some nice big buds. Super excited to see what this plant can do.
Loving the smell now, it's super refreshing, with a bit of a berry smell coming on. She's not stretching very much which is good, wish I could say the same for her mate.
Buds are filling in, the smell is picking up and is amazing now. The yellowing started to come back a little (not as bad as it looks in the pics, the plant is still plenty green), not sure if this lady is just hungry or the light is still too close. I should know by next week.
She's got a wonderful berry kush smell and the buds are filling in nicely, A good amount of frost already, so that's a good sign. Other than that there's nothing new to report, I think this is where I'm going to max out my feed unless something comes up.
She is such a hungry lady! I slowly upped her dose last week to where I am now, and the yellowing has halted completely. Now she's starting to chunk up and pack on the frost. The smell is reminiscent of the best afghani indica I've tried, so I'm very excited to see her finish. Lucky for me, it won't be long, I'm thinking another 35 days at most.
It's been coming along nicely. She's super healthy and producing a massive amount of frost. The smell is so nice, truly afghan. I have nothing but good things to say about this strain so far, the only downside is she's a heavy feeder.
Just chugging along. Still the most fragrant plant in the tent overall. I really can't wait to smoke some of this, the smell is so nice. She's starting to fatten up now, but I think it's gonna be another 24-30 days.
No change aside from a very minor K def, will up the PK this week to compensate. Still has an amazing berry kush smell, and a ridiculous amount of frost being produced.
This week I also noticed the buds near the bottom smell much more sour/pungent, almost like a sour candy.
Something happened and this lady decided to start producing some seeds on a single bud below the canopy. Praying it didn't go farther than that. Loving the smell of this plant below the canopy, it's so sour smelling. At most another 30 days to go
Dialed back the nutes a couple weeks ago, forgot to add that in. She seems to have slowed down, I'm hoping she'll fatten up a little more but I've got a feeling she doesn't have much more to give now that the pistils are starting to turn orange. We'll see, she's gonna go at least another 2 weeks.
Started the flush on day 77. Most of the trichs are cloudy white at this point, and she's gonna go for another 9 days of flush. I'm fairly confident that the main colas are seed free but at least two of the lower buds hermied. No big deal as they wouldn't have been more than a gram each.
A great short plant with balanced indica and sativa effects, her faults were my own, so I will do her justice this winter with one of the two seeds I have left. She has huge yield potential with sufficient lighting and veg time. I had another 2.5 oz of small buds not worth trimming that went into butter, so with proper lighting over 100g/plant in a 4x4 is easily achievable.
update: It's been about a week of curing, and I've sampled a piece of a cola and all I can say is WOW. Great effect, mild flavor (should improve over the next couple weeks, will update further). I believe this might be more potent than the Badazz. I am very impressed.
This one was very confusing to me, I feel bad leaving a review because I don't know if I gave her the best conditions. She sat under a 65w QB (with a 400w HPS next to it, mostly blocked by her tentmate) for the second half of her flowering period and started to foxtail, which I'm pretty certain was the result of the light being too close. She started growing stamen which pollinated some lower buds. The low amount of light in the lower canopy lead to a lot of light green buds with less trichome coverage. I will give this strain another try later this year when conditions are right. Regardless of my screwups, this is some great smoke, great balance between indica and sativa effects with very short indica stature. Doesn't knock you out as quickly as other strains which is good for this summer.
@TomatoloverBoy, I'm pretty sure it's foxtailing from the light being a little bit too close. It's not too bad though, the buds still have a nice solid structure.
