And we're 5 weeks in.... not as big as I would like her to be but that was my mess up and I underfed. I was thinking she didn't need a feed for the first few weeks, but that's soil and not coco. Whadayado.... it's how we learn.
Anyhoo... since she's been getting her nutes, she's starting to spread her wings. 5th set of leaves coming through. I was planning to flip on week 6 but I think I'll keep her in veg an extra week to make up for lost time. I'm hoping to mainline this lady.
She looks a bit droopy, but this was taken shortly before lights out. Looks like a little heat stress too, the way she's cupping, but without extraction in the wardrobe, temps can sometimes climb near 30oC. This will be remedied in due course.
Great start mate, best of luck with her! I've definitely got Royal Moby on my list of strains to grow so I'll be looking forward to watching this beauty til the end! 💪✌️🐺
Thank you kindly. I'm very excited to see how she develops too! I may, at some point in the future, do an LED/HPS comparison grow with this strain. Gotta finish my grow room first though .
Well this lady is purely for fun! Assuming I don't mess things up, lol! She's my first so some mistakes will be made, but I've put my time into research, invested good money and hopefully with some help and guidance here, I'll be smoking this tasty lady by end of June. 😎
I plan to veg for another 3 weeks before flipping. As of yesterday the power was increased to 100% so will give her a day or 2 to acclimatize before decreasing the space between plant and bulb. Am I being overly cautious? Absofrigginlutely! First grow, I want to get it right and keep this lady healthy. 😍
And you're spot on! I did feck up and underfed thinking seedlings didn't need food for the first 3 weeks or so, and that would be true if I grew in soil. But I went with coco and just confused myself. Not that I even have to try - confusion is my middle name, lol!
@bobo420,thanks man, she is indeed coming along nicely now. I plan to do a good feed and soak at lights on today. She looks droopy in those pics as they were taken shortly before lights out.
You can lower the light significantly, half of that distance would be ok, you can measure it to see if it warms the canopy, but around ~20cm you should be fine ;)
@Pat_Maghee, understand and agree, they are looking lovely but 3 weeks to me seems a bit much for adjusting period. For how long do you plant to veg them?
@bobo420, cheers man. I'm working my way up to that, have been increasing the power of the LED from 50 - 100% power the last few weeks. They're not stretching by any means to reach the light so I'm happy to take it nice and slow. 😊
