Popping seeds, I always hate this part. Will they pop or will they dud. Luckily I've had almost 100% from Royal Queen seeds so it was good to see the tap root this morning on the 1st seed.
1st vial warm distilled water. (Not hot)
Pop your seeds in the vial and leave for 24hrs in total darkness, warmth helps here as well.
They should sink or have a slight white split where the tap root is showing. They are ready for the next stage.
Wet Cotton towel and 2 plates do the trick. Again darkness and warmth.
Check the photos above for visual reference.
Snip snip, topped with some LST to break the vertical dominance of the plant.
Not all the off shoots will become trunks to support the, hopefully huge collas
1st week flower, with some LST to open them up a bit for the light. My vegging space is small so they get squished, hence all the different size off shoots. Currently building a high pressure aero veg unit.
But they seem to be happy and stretching slowly.
1st major defoliation end of week 1 flower.
Girls are looking all kinds of healthy.
#1 is leaving #2 behind now in the stretch, root mass and overall look.
Streching very nicely, almost doubled in size over 2 weeks.
Last week of stretch, girls have shot up and more than trippled in size over the last 2 weeks in flower.
Wedding Gelato #1 is a beast at 86cm post week 2 flower.
Very healthy looking girls.
Number 2's roots have not taken to the aero as well as #1 but holding it's colour nicely.
Clones to come at the end of the week.
Root mass playing massive part in WG#1 rocketing off in flower. Huge stretch
Lower leg fan leaves off, very excited for these girls.
They are my favorite so far, although that banna hammock is a beast. But these are so frosty and looking purp.
Hope it pushes through
GGaaad damn these Gelato 33 strains are fire.
These girls are half way through flower and already way more trichomes then anything else I've grown (maybe the durban poison was similar)
Great strain this, clones take in a week, they grow so well, easily managed and both seem to have some decent density forming.
Starting off week 6 of flower with a bang, girls are healthy and happy. Little foiler feed this week and a full res change with fresh nuts though push them through before the last week which will be flush week.
2 rez top ups last week and a fully change today. Girls are thirsty and starting to really full out which is exciting me beyond examine.
WG 1 and the Haze 2 are some of the best trees I've grown.
The Wedding Gelato strain is really easy to grow and to be honest hasn't needed much from me apart from some LST and defoliation in weeks 1 and 3 of flower.
Smelling soo good and sticky as hell, definitely going to make bubbke hash from the sugar leaf and press that shit.
Flushing for a little extra than usual to get some clean clean flavors.
Really happy with this batch, the nugs are so dense and are oozing terpenes and trichomes.
Awesome strain this one
Great stuff to just get really high off of. I smoke a lot and this is one of the strains that still gets me excited to have a joint. Sweet earthy, floral smell. Hard to pin down exactly but tastes like wedding cake on the smoke mixed with a bit of cheese. So ya a weirdly awesome combo of sweet yet savory. With the smell to know its kicking hard.
Incredible strain this, grew hassle free from the start. Keep her healthy and give her what she needs and it will produce some dense, trich covered goodness.
The smoke is Incredible but has a massive kick so be warned. Estimate these girls will be 25%
THC.
