The second set of leaves started to twist but oddly seems to be correcting itself, weird!! Very little water until her roots get established ph'd 5.7 as I'll do a gradual increase to 6.0 while in the vegetative stage. Not much going on this week so stay safe and stay tuned!! Vibrant green colour and seems to be liking life. Not much going on this week other than water twice weekly ph 5.9. I like to use 1.5 tablespoons per gallon of combined ammendments. I'm using 3 gallons of medium at 1.5 tablespoons per gallon which gives me 4.5 tablespoons= 2.25 tablespoons of 4-4-4/ 2.25 tablespoons of 2-8-4. Top mixed and thoroughly watered 6.0. Zero runoff is what I want because I don't want to lose fertilizer the plant may need. Week 7 will be banana compost tea time to help give a boost in flowering. The runoff ph was a little high at 7.0 so I'm bringing it down gradually. Not much to report just plain ph'd water 6.1 going in but now I'm aiming for 4.9-5.0 because it will buffer to the 6.0-6.2 range. Week 7 will be banana compost tea time for a boost in flowering. So far these red strains from Sweet Seeds are treating me right. I did zero training on these gals because I did not have good luck the last time. They do have the Christmas tree shape so maybe a little LST training next time won't hurt. I'm watering 3 times per week ph'd 6.2. So this gal has turned out to be one beautiful plant. I did not fair well with the BlackBerry from Fastbuds but albeit not their fault as it was completely my error. This plant however is full of leaves looking healthy but I think the shade of green could be a little lighter but overall I'm super stoked how this one is shaping up. Thanks to Sweet Seeds for these fine genetics and the opportunity to grow their strains. So moving along this week I gave a dose of banana compost tea. I used a 2 litre jug filled with filtered water 1.5 L and everyday when I finish a banana I then cut into pieces and place into container. Do this for 7 days, drain then mix into 1 gallon of room temperature water. That's it easy and simple while giving your plants a boost in flowering. I'm not doing a final review until dried and cured which I can properly do a trip report. So far smells flowery and looks beautiful. The buds aren't as big as I would like but there's room for improvement. I would like to thank Sweet Seeds for the opportunity to grow their genetics. This was a ton of fun watching this plant grow from seed to stoned. Eye catching genetics with a fine end product.
