I like to use 1.5 tablespoons per gallon of combined ammendments. I'm using 3 gallons of medium at 1.5 tablespoons per gallon which gives me 4.5 tablespoons= 2.25 tablespoons of 4-4-4/ 2.25 tablespoons of 2-8-4. Top mixed and thoroughly watered 6.0. Zero runoff is what I want because I don't want to lose fertilizer the plant may need. Week 7 will be banana compost tea time to help give a boost in flowering. I water twice weekly roughly 1500ml as this gal is moving slowly but I think she is going to have a major growth spurt soon so we'll see. Stay Safe and Stay Tuned I'll update next week!!
