Didn't start my grow diary from the beginning of this one, but here we are. We're in mid flower, but this is the first stage I've got to this point, so no idea when they're done... They definitely look like they need more time to really fill out all the buds properly and consistently but any pointers will be great! There are 3 of the super skunks, I feel one is ahead of the other two as it's in a smaller pot.

This is my first grow that's reached this stage of flowering... we're only on about week 8 I think (wasn't tracking like the last 1) but what's the best way of knowing when they're ready for harvest? I don't think they are , but I want to know what to look for so I never ruin it!

Hello First of all you need to have a microscope 30x is enough! You harvest the plant base on the rei comes and your preference! If you want to harvest when the THC and other components are in full power you aim to harvest when the tricomes are 90% cloudy and 10% amber, that gonna give you more a sativa type of high! If you want a mix of head high and a sedative high you aim to harvest when the tricomes are 50/50% cloudy/amber! Keep in mind that more the % of amber tricomes more sedative the high will be, because the THC transformed in CBN! Don’t forget to flush mate! Wish it helps Check my diarie if you like! Peace ✌️

The buds are really starting to fill out it seems. Where they were separate on the plant they're starting to come together and get fatter. The buds on the outer branches are obviously behind the rest of the plant but they're catching up. It's smelling amazing... both plants have potential for a nice fat nug down the centre and I can't wait to get my hands on them! Hopefully some decent weather this week will really develop the buds some more and we'll see them really fill out on the plant. Loupe arrived which is awesome! All clear so we have way longer on the flowering, which is great for yield 😋I was hoping this was the case!! Roll on the sun and maxing these plants out! End of week 9 and the ladies are looking good. Leaves are starting to darken on the edges on the bud and pistols are changing colour. I think they've got a couple of weeks left in them, but switched them to finish off indoors under a 600w light to finish them off. Trimmed some of the foliage to get more light to the lower buds and hope it ends the 10th week looking nearly ready to go. Not sure they'll go to 12 on these ones, I'll take them to end of 10 and see how the trichomes are looking. They are just on water at present.

These bad boys don't have long left by looking at them, but needed to move them so thought I'd give them a week under lights while they're finished off. They're on purely water now as a flush and will look at how they are in a week with a view to start chopping them down. How's she looking? Setup the grow area better, got the humidity monitor up now. She's at about 24c, 72% humidity (got a dehumidifier on the way) and now on an 18hr light schedule. EDIT: humidity is creeping up, so need to sort that but dehumidifier is arriving in 3 days. Harvested the smallest plant, she wasn't going to give me too much more and gives the others some time. She's drying now and waiting for final dry weight. Only think she'll give me about 15g on the scale trimmed, but it was my very first grow and the plants I've planted since I've learnt so much on. Lets hope the remaining super skunks yield a bit more!

Leaves are now changing to purple edges and know that some strains just have different coloured leaves, but this has just happened later on now she's under the light inside and couldnt find any pics of super skunk with purple-ish like leaves. Normal? Stupid question probably!

I would not worry at all. At this age, leaves changing color is more or less normal. I also had this with my Super Skunk, albeit not that purple. But I grew her indoor, which could make a difference. To me your lady looks fine.

3 of 4 of these small plants have been trimmed and cut. They will now hang and dry for a week and then maybe I’ll have some space and the last plant might be ready! Will update...!

She's a muncher! Man, insatiable hunger on this one, but good solid high. Not displeased with the yield sitting about 100g, as these were first grow and outdoors without any experience, so 100g is top! Next ones I'm hoping to see some gains, but for what I grew she's brilliant. Really pleased and strong high, too.
