Hard stem and Bubblegum!

Usually I start my diary after they all pop but I’m feeling lucky and especially green this round. After numerous failed attempts at getting auto seeds from various sources and not having them pop no matter what I did. I finally got in touch with THSeeds and told them that the Critical Hog auto they sent me were totally bunk and not one popped. They had Truenorth seedbank send me this bubblegum Within a week of my complaint. I’m hoping these are fresh vigorous seeds and after much touch up learning on seed popping Iv decided to go straight from the water cup to the medium which is Black Gold seedlings mix in the center 6 inches of my coco soil so to give them a easy start with no added nutes. So it begins.... Stay tuned fellow growers!

This is actually week 1, I posted week 1 on accident and as far as I know you can’t go back and edit that week. Anyway 4 out of 5 auto bubblegum popped and are growing well and my friend gave me a critical HOG seed he had because I told him the story about these free bubblegum seeds True North seed bank sent me on THSeeds behalf. He said “No shit I have one of those left from last year bro you can have it”. And it’s popped up and growing now too so it looks like this grow is 100% THSeeds Autos.

This is actually week 2 now. The seedlings are starting to take off, everyday there is new growth so things are going good. Gave them their first real feeding outside of the 1 part seedling feed I used called canna start. Even with that one of them had some yellowing on the leafs very slightly so hopefully the fox farm and the advanced Nutrients reg I gave them takes care of all that nonsense. Thanks for checking in!

Finally made it through week 3 and started my LST yesterday which was the last day of week 3. This journal is a week behind what i have listed due to an accidental post I did in week 1. I’m feeding at almost full strength and also Iv cut the use of fox farm grow big due to Deficiency that started to pop up in one of the plants it appeared that it was either nitrogen or a calmag Deficiency. Due to that I decided to switch to using coco bloom and it will work fine in combo with all the other advanced nutrients I have at my disposal. Stretch has now started but no actual sign of Bud sites. I’m without my Advanced Nutrients bud Ignitor until next week which sucks because I like to start a week prior to bloom. LST continues daily in order to keep all now branch’s exposed to the light 100%. Because if this my lowest branches are the height of my top branch which is now probably going to be the back branch like a spine. This is not actually week 5 it’s week 4 because I don’t count the day the seed sprouts a tail I count from the day it breaks through the ground which for these was about 5-7 days from germination, I accidentally posted week 1 the day I planted and didn’t think about it until I went to post for week 1. This should be the last week of VEG which for autos is usually pre-flower week which accounts for the rapid stretching of the lower branches. Hopefully by next week I’ll have my Bud Ignitor and I can make those bud sites pop up all over the plant and get some nice size buds stacking up for the first two weeks of bloom. Good week, this little Grow continues To surprise me. 5 solid weeks of Veg now and they have really made good use of the time. The LST continues to pay off as side branches start to form on the long even branches of the canopy I have created. The purpinator on these girls has shown no bad effects unlike my Dos Si Dos which had I not caught it I would have completely died. Instinct kicked in and I did what I tell everybody on here to do when they start seeing brown spots or yellow spots or anything popping up on their leafs I flushed really really well for the whole day let it dry for a day and then started feeding again and luckily the damage stopped in the plants as healthy as for the bubblegum autos they’re stretching good still no sign of actual flower but they’re growing fast and I’m sure in week six of their life we will see the flowers start...or not. Just keeping the LST and high frequency fertigation going like they talk about on cocoforcannabis.com. If you grow with coco you should check it out because there is much to learn even when you know some shit...for real tho. I have some cool mutations on one of my plants. One middle branch has 4 leafs coming out of 1 node which has 4 “blooms” coming out of where the leafs are sprouting. Also I have a branch that looks topped but it wasn’t so it’s a perfect Y with nodes at the branch and on top and another Y on the same plant on a main where it’s really thick but has two stems sprouting out of one which is right at the top of that branch. Anyway shits going really good with these bubblegum autos. I’m freaking impressed that you get 5 weeks of Veg out of them and that’s on all 3 plants. I thought I was seeing a stretch last week start and I was right for sure. Iv gained at least 3” in 7 days and my bigger ones probably more then 3 but I like to average. My shorty plant AKA Shorty WOP WOP 😂 is very different in structure from the other two which are themselves different but more similar. It’s actually a small,large, larger pheno situation which never happens for me. Idk the odds or total number of possible phenotypes but I got 1 of each of the good ones. Safe to say I’m happy and the pictures show why. Thanks for checking peeps.

Nice big stretch happened this week. Literally overnight my shorty plant jumped up to almost the height of the other two. I was so excited when I went out to find that but I let my rabbit out to hop around and she chewed a hole into my greenhouse and ate a shit ton of stuff off my plants. The video I posted on this week shows the extent of the damage but what really killed me was the shorty plant had just stretched and she fuckin ate 3 main branches off it and all the sides so now it’s a plant with 3 mains and little ass middle branches that have come up after I did some LST to open her up and try and make up for that loss. This week was good and it sucked. FML. I added Big Bud coco and carboload to the nute list this week so hopefully I start seeing some jump in bud production. Surprisingly I had no stunting from the rabbit eating the plants so stuff is still moving along nice for the branches that still stand. I did find some mite looking fuckers on these so I got the mighty wash out and blasted a couple rounds during the day and bought more so I can follow up but they had done no visible damage so I found them just by being active in my garden and paying close attention so go me for catching that shit before mites killed me off.
