MarcXL Started germinating two seeds of sweet seeds "Red Hot Cookies" and put them up in a light soil for the first two weeks.
They got a Mix of different nutes by Green Buzz Liquids to ensure a good start to life.
End of week one they look nice.

MarcXL Now we are talking. Finally they started to build up some bigger leaves and finally look more bushy and healthy.
I wonder if these bigger gaps between nodes is typical or just cause I accidentially let my Far-Red lights run all the day for several days.

MarcXL After 14 3 days the flowers showed up and they also stretched a lot. So I had to do some LST to prevent them raising their heads into the lamp.
With the flower also the smell came up, light but nice, sort of green tea.
Not sure now but it seems they could both get some red touch.

MarcXL In week 2 of flower they stretched a lot and we are near the limit of the tent.
Sure it is 180cm tall but the pro Emit light isn´t the smallest light you can buy and also I can´t hang it up much more higher.
So I had to start taking the main stem and do some training. This means I bent the stems to some horizontal position and also bind them down.

MarcXL Stretch is still going on, so more training is needed. The light is at its´highest possible point now and some buds wanted to grow right into the light.
This strain is growing bigger than expected, next time I would use some topping and ScrOG net.
But it is what it is and now I have to deal with it. So now the tent looks really messy with all plants in it.
I did more stem bending now and will do lot more of binding and bending the next weeks.

MarcXL End of week 5 and I have such a chaos in the tent. After lots of training I finally managed to keep them away from the lights.
Due to this situation I did not want to remove the psicodelicia plant in front of the red cookies out of the tent for the pictures here, so I had to do most pictures with a different angle.

Here is so much going on since the bending, loos like the smaller stems got good amount of light and raised up a lot.
Buds are getting bigger now and the smell intensifies.

MarcXL Harvest was a sticky mess because trichomes are everywhere.
For drying I only removed the bigger fan leaves.
Now they are hanging upside down in the tent to dry for about 8 to 10 days before trimming and getting a proper dry weight.

Red hot cookies is a strain I seen by Barneys farm and always wanted. Just seeing the add with the big red bud with the disclaimer that most phenotypes appear with red bud and tricomes. Was this strain everything you hoped for and seeing the bud size in comparison to the plant. Do you feel LST and possibly mainline this plant low and even early on would of provided a bigger harvest? Just a question my friend your harvest looks amazing. Just wanna know your opinion. Seen a lot of your work. Like me you want real female plants/ photo periods.

@michael_2r1, I started that grow without any training and just had to do something because they grew too fast and gained too much height. With some training like topping, mainlining, LST, defoliation and a ScroG there is more potential when it comes to yield.
About the taste it is really nice and what I expected.
Sweet Seeds saying that 60% are red phenos. Bud size according to the plant was okay, with some lower defoliation I think the buds would have been bigger.
