I was lucky enough to score a few strains to try out from @SweetSeeds (🙏) and thought I'd try to squeeze in one more outdoor grow before the weather turns and the days get too short. For this run I'll be growing Gorilla Girl XXL Auto. Harvest time is 9 weeks from germination so we'll be down to the proverbial wire. I'm keen to push the envelope though 👍
Started her off (with another seed who ultimately wouldn't shake her shell) one week ago by soaking her overnight in distilled water. The seed cracked the next day and I placed her between two wet paper towels that I inserted between two paper plates - left that on top of my hot water heater for about 48 hours. With a nice little tap root started I dropped her into a pete plug and placed her under a T5 fluorescent light - probably too far from the light cuz she's pretty lanky. Nonetheless, off we go. 🚀
"A tall, “Super Strong” marijuana strain produced by crossing two of most powerful varieties in the Cookies family: Gorilla Girl®️ x Sweet Gelato Auto®️. It has a potent, stimulating effect with very high THC levels of up to 25%. Individual plants can even surpass this threshold. The buds have an intense, sweet and fruity aroma and taste, with tones of blue cypress and wood complemented by citric, earthy shades."
@@motaman311, Thanks. Pretty excited about this one. Sweet Gelato was the other seed that just wouldn't shake her shell - I finally managed to ease it off and it looks like she may rally - she lost a sucker leaf but it looks like she wants to grow. Hopefully I'll see some roots growing through the pete plug in the next few days and I'll be able to move her into a pot🤞
@TheUk420Show, Thanks for the offer buddy! That's very kind of you. I have a couple more seeds in reserve and have one germinating at the moment - I'll be running it indoors at this point though. Damn squirrels.
Thanks for sharing a new diary with one of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
Once finished, with the final notes of the strains, you can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!

As much as nature is beautiful, it's times like this where you go.."F**k!"..when checking on your babies. I lost one of my Pakistan valley's to my cat deciding to rip the paperclip out of the soil as I had a bit of a stretch on the one seed and put some support in there..and poof..she took the entire plant out with it...Dad was not happy that day LOL. 😤
