This lady was an experiment I expected to fail as everyone everywere says this can't be done with autos but well....I did it, a monstercrop of an RQS green gelato auto that at the time was just starting to flower, at current the mother plant to this little monster is currently in her final weeks but this girl is just gettin started after I pinched out her original flowersite just after she started to put roots down from then she immediately started to stretch where I applied some LST to open up possible flower sites to maximise her potential and I'm glad I did she seems to be loving life and hopefully she continues to build them flowers until it's time to harvest 😁
More flowers keep appering after a small amount of defoliation to allow more light and airflow as she is pretty compact and dense, definitely increased in odour in the past few days, probably won't end up to impressive but it will still have more on than if it was still attached to her mother plant as she started life right at the bottom of the plant so would have had next to no light and probably would have ended up as trim anyway.
She is filling out pretty well now, starting to stink aswell, did some defoliation about 3 days ago to try and open her up abit to let air and light through but it is just a mass of bud an sugar leaves, should be a good amount considering its my first go at a monstercrop especially as it is an auto, well pleased so far.
She is finally ready soon as she is dry she will be receiving a flush, she has been very effective at using the nutes in the soil so I don't think it will take much to hit low ppm, hopefully she tastes as good as she smells.
At the start of the week just after I updated the diary for this little lady she was dry enough to start her flush I gave 1l of pure water at 23°c left her 5 minutes then chased out most dissolved nutes with another 2l of pure water pH 6.4 runoff was pH 6.5 and ppm dropped to 130, 6 days later she had another 4l pure water flush pH 6.5 runoff was 6.5 again with 5ppm so down to the nute reserves now, hopefully she will fade fast from now and she should be ready for the chop soon.👍
This little lady has received 2 rather large pure water flushes and 1 smaller flush but is still very green which I am not to happy about, I want to chop her down but taking her down while she has all that chlorophyll still will take so much longer to get rid of that grassy taste via curing, hopefully she starts to fade soon because I don't want any more amber's popping up which is what's going to happen the longer I have to wait 🤬, I don't get why she is still so healthy looking when there is literally nothing left in the soil.
When this little monster is dried and cured I will update with flavour and effect but with calculations I will end up with about 4.1g dry weight, doesn't seem like much but I say again this was the bottom node and was cut just after flowers started to appear and started as an experiment, happy days 👍
