Welcome to my grow, I have 3 x gorilla glue Autoflowers from Fastbuds 420.
This is my second grow, and I will be trying LST for the first time on these too!
All 3 of these seeds germinated perfectly using the paper towel method.
Pistils appeared between 3 - 3 1/2 Weeks. These pictures were taken dead on week 4, as per diary, and they are definitely in the flowering stage now.
Still looking super healthy, and responded great to some light LST at the beginning. The LST has given them a bushier appearance with an even canopy.
I have recently acquired a new grow tent, as these were too bushy for my smaller one, thanks to the initial LST. I now have a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent, with a 600w HPS light. They did not mind being put into the new tent with a higher power light, and have continued growing as normal!
I have noticed a few trichomes dotted about the leaves already, probably to protect it from the heat of the new light.
Plants have only grown a couple inches this week , which must mean they’re starting to put that energy into the flower.
I took off just a few leaves from each plant , as they were yellowing / dead. I will do this to all of my plants , no point it trying to keep them dead leaves alive!
Not looking too much different from last week, the buds have just put on a bit of weight. All bud sites including lower ones nice and frosty too.
Little bit of light defoliation of the lower fan leaves to allow more light into the buds.
I can see this Autoflower having a 5 week flower period and packing on some good weight and frost, living up to it’s sticky name!
As a side note, this week I have been accepted for RQS autumn grow contest, and was allocated some ‘Joannes CBD’ to grow! Sorry fastbuds, I will be growing you alongside the RQS strains in my tent however 🤣
I checked the trichomes today under my x60 magnifier, the majority are cloudy with about 10% clear. I will wait for the pistils to turn orange and check again!
I’m aiming for all cloudy, with 10% amber. I would estimate another week until chop!
Week 5 of flower, the crystals are mostly cloudy with a few clear still dotted about. No amber yet though!
I would estimate another 4 to 5 days before harvest. So hard to be patient at this point, but the wait is always worth it!
Watered for the last time today I think. I like to dry the soil right out before harvest, to aid in the drying process.
Beautiful sweet lemon smell from these plants, can’t wait to smell them once they’re dry and cured too.
Wow, what a pleasure to grow. Absolutely no problems at all, the 3 plants I grew were all identical.
Solid genetics, good sticky buds, and a good bit of trim too (if you’re into hash making / edibles!)
This is my first complete diary on grow diaries too, so I’m super happy about that!

@prozombiekc, 1 week since germination. They were in paper towels for 3 days until a long tap root formed, and then it’s been a week since they’ve been in soil
