I took a while to rest from the previous session and take my time to clean my tent, change a little its organisation, choose the strains etc etc.
Finally I put 2 Hulkberry (Royal queen seeds) 2 Blueberry ghost OG (Original sensible seeds)and 2 THC bunker buster (Zamnesia) in to wet cotton( pH 6) on august 20th in the afternoon and kept them in the dark.
All of them had sprouted two days later and went in to a 0.3 l pot for the fisrt days of growth on the day after: Today, August 23 th, day one.
The 3 strains are supposed to take +/- the same time to be ready. THC bunker buster shloud not grow much more than 1 meter and the 2 other strains's heigh should be rather easy to control to match THC BunkerBlaster's one.
Very little watering, a little of elycitor right from the begining for roots.
I plan pots of 1 L in 5 days, 3,5 L a week later and finally 14 L. Growth 4 to 6 weeks. Lst, toping et scrog considered.
More parameters to manage this time: Light pollution to take care of, repotting ( 3 of them are planned), flowering start..
Temperature should be almost perfect for the next 4 months and this is a good point ! :)
Hoping that I'll gain enough experience to consider starting to play with Sativa's next year.
Day 4: All seeds had sprouted when I put them in their 1st pot. 2 seeds were a little less developed ans I didn't plant them correctly, roots not turning the right way. Everything is in order now although they are about 2 days delayed compared to the others.
Day 7: The 2nd Hulkberry took longer to pop up (my fault), the other plants look ok for now, nothing special to mention.
@Ferenc,Thank you for your answer ! Appeasing my worries :)
That said, I just noticed some brown spots on a few THC BB #1's leaves. Nothing on the 5 other plants. Maybe another reason to worry about :)
@@@Weedelfe, Well this is also good for the plants to keep them a bit hungry..... i usually do it as well, sometimes i do not water them for longer period and then they start growing faster
@Ferenc, Well,I didn't water because the soil is still damp ( 7 days today).
Because the plants look ok, I don't worry too much but in my small one session experience I can"t prevent to remember that I used to water every 3/4 days. So..I wonder if they just had too much water last time ( from 2l to 3 l per pot) or if I should worry about something else, like roots health for instance.
The soil is supposed to be good (DNA Mills with cork), I added elycitor ( mixture of mycorrhizae, Bacillus, Trichodermas and other microorganisms and elements : humic and fulvic acids, amino acids and vitamins, different micronutrients (Fe, Cu, Cr, Mn, Zn, Mo, Mg) and Roots+ to each watering. Roots looked very good when I repotted. Along 6 weeks they also had nutrients (Grow A+B) 3 times (70% of recommended dosage) and reacted well...T° max 24.8 °C mini 19°8
humidity 49%(night) 55/60% (day).
Could there be a reason behind the fasting ? That's what I 'm wondering and- yes- worrying a bit about :)
For now, I plan to wait for the soil to be dry enough (same as your advice).
@bioaccessory, I got the bamboo stems from friend's garden. Cut 26 one meter segments in order to get 12x12 "holes".The whole construction is rather light weighted and easy to handle. I attached it to the tent frame very simply using the thick green tie yarn that I usually use for lst ( you can see a tiny part of it on the top left corner of the last diary pic and I'll post a picture later in the afternoon- it's 1 pm now here-)
@Shagrath,Thank you Shagrath😋 Next session, I grow Original sensible seeds again (one maybe 2 of those :gorilla glue #4 or girl scout cookies or ZKittlez) and Kannabia (cookies haze) and sensi seeds (jack herer). And with a new set up !😎
