Been using a 20hr on 4 hr off light schedule. With autoflower should I consider altering light schedule in flower or leave as is? By default leaving as is as this is a very keep it simple stupid grow.
Next time will spread it out a touch more via LST. Really looks healthy and growing well. A weekly watering with liquid Koolbloom is the only added nutrients. The promix organic soil used says it has three months worth of nutrients.
Thinned out a bit of leaves to open up light getting to lower buds. Buds seem to have stoped growing and added lots of orange hairs. Very frosty looking. Breeder estimates 10 weeks seed to harvest for this strain so think I will harvest within a week.
Thinking it is close to harvest. Think it has gone from clear to milky but not certain. Guess I need to get something with better magnification than a phone picture. What do experienced eyes think looking at the picture?

Those trichomes are on peak!!
Cloudy, milky whatever you want to call it lol
They're on full with THC, you can go ahead and cut them whenever you see fit.
Harvest window opens when you start getting amber pistils.
The best way to check is looking at the trichomes on the buds with a 60X magnifying loupe
Clear trichomes haven't reached their full potency, cloudy ones are full of THC and amber are losing THC while gaining CBN.
I harvest when after examining and finding 70% cloudy trichomes and 30% amber trichomes.
For me that's a prefect combination, depending on the strain as well.
With some strains I go with lower amount of amber trichomes but always attest 10%.
This really depends on what type of high your looking for.
As for what they look like, clear trichomes look like shiny glass, cloudy like plastic and amber like resin

The buds where average size and not very dense, but smelt and tasted great and pretty good strength. 22g from 10 weeks seed to harvest with a $65 grow light was better than expected. Still have seeds will grow again when the cellar is warm enough.
