Week 4
Broad Mite still making victim.
On this week I watered she with water + diatomaceous earth
Still waiting for better days, I hope hv succes 😐
Apparently the diatomaceous earth is working against broadmite 😅
Week 5
Following the vegetative and broadmite continues to damage the leaves of the plant.
The treatment is still the application of diatomaceous earth.
In a few days I will start flowering.
Week 6
1st week of flowering stage.
This is probably the worst time since I start to grow cannabis.
I really dont know whsts going on with my girls.
I was thinking abou broadmites, But now I dont really think what really is.
I turn light to 12/12 most early, if it really broadmite, my plants probably going to die, Lets see next days.
😔
After many weeks believing that I have mites in my cultivation, I start to believe that my real problem is my soil.
Apparently my soil still has decomposing material and it has affected the leaves.
Waiting the flowering goes and how will plant react of it.
I hope it not serious thing.
My leaves problem look like excess of nutrient in soil formulation.
On this week I turn lights on.
Now there will be 360W full power to flowering stage.
Week 3 -
Week 3 of flowering stage its already begin.
Since the beginning I was thinking something about mite on my girl, but the growing its very fast and healthy, the color of the plant is perfect, very balanced.
This soil was not well formulated and its hard (with excess of nutrients) but it working, maybe its just matter of time to correct him.
Waiting to the next chapter and trying to learn more...
Gorilla Girl was the plant most afected of the soil problem, but she is reacting very well.
Today was the day of lolipop prunning.
I made a defoliation on lower leaves to concentrate the flowers on top.
Week 4
My girl reaches her final size.
This was the plant that suffered the most with unbalanced soil.
I took the opportunity to put the scrog that will be more to support the buds weight.
Despite the initial deformity of the leaves, the plant has a very healthy aspect and a very balanced coloring, so I believe that this adventure will not influence the flavor of the flowers.
In few weeks... HARVEST TIME 😋
Day 22
Hard defoliation on fan leaves.
Week 5
The soil started to stabilize, the plants are less stressed and the production is satisfactory.
Apparently the worst is over, I have watered every 2 days on average.
These strains are for approximately 9 weeks of flowering, soon HARVEST.
In the half of week 5, it was add 205W of Citizen and Epstar COBs.
TOTAL 565W.
Week 6 -
Week without surprises.
No-till cycle working well, watering only with water, but note that the companion plants still grow crooked.
Soon the soil still shows signs of excesses, I believe that in the next cycles these excesses will be fixed.
Hugz from Brazil.
Week 7 -
Week with high temperatures, reaching 36º celcius.
The smell is very strong and the plants are beautiful.
These are 9 week flowering plants, but I think they can pass until week 10.
Week 8 -
Dead line is coming, starting week 8 of flowering.
The routine is maintained, feeding only with water.
The pistils take on an orange color.
I think Gorilla Girl will pass 10 weeks of flowering.
Week 9 of flowering stage -
The heat here in Brazil is high, I live in a city on the coast, so the humidity also tends to rise, I'm controlling as much as possible.
This Strain is for 9 weeks of flowering, but I think it will go 1 or 2 weeks later.
Week 10 -
Gorilla Girl will stay for two weeks more to, her trichomes are cloudy, I wanna harvest she when trichomes stay close to 50% ambar.
This baby its the most huge plant I ever see in indoor.
Huge and pretty. 😍
Week 11 of flowering stage -
Gorilla Girl start to fade, fan leaves becoming yellow and the flower start to change the collor.
Thichomes are most part milky, but its not harvest time yet.
I think she will live for 2 more weeks.
Week 12 of flowering stage -
One more week is gone, first amber trichomes appear in Gorilla Girl.
This baby is probably the most huge strain I ever grow yet.
Its amazing how she can be tall and fat.
I think in 1 week I will harvest her.
Hugz from Brazil guyz.
Gorilla Girl was so far the best strain I ever grow yet, its a very huge strain in all senses, she's height and weight, she grows like sativas, but their bud are like indicas, no words to describe, totally in love with her. 😍

I ran into the same problem with my Super Coco Coir Soil, it took a few weeks for it to balance out, but I feel it may have stunted my plants, they were all sweet seeds in that run, your plants look like they did a great turn around, I made adjustments to my soil and it has been baking now for 3 weeks, about to transplant into it. If you weighed and scaled out your mix, I would be happy to give it a run, great job, looking forward to your harvest report!

@MrJones, I think my plants suffered a little with the soil issue with excess nutrients, yes, but flowering is consuming these excesses, I believe that in the next cycle, there will be more balance.
But I am very excited about the results of this cycle.
Thank you very much for updating. 😊
The leaves show a previous problem with nitrogen and/or high temperature.
For the next harvest, if you see a very dark green, there may be excess nitrogen. The leaves wrinkled upwards is possibly due to an excess of nutrients or also due to a very high temperature.
Sweet smokes!
- Apolo
@Sweet_Seeds, Apolo, thanx for the tips.
I believe that the worst phase has passed.
The soil has adjusted, but it still shows symptoms of excess, the companion plants that I planted in the soil, are still born with the leaves accusing such excess, but I hope that the high consumption in this flowering stage, take enough of this excess.
In the worst case, in the next cycle I will add inert soil on the mix.
Hugz from Brazil bro.
