Figured I would start a part two, since GD doesn't go further than 32 weeks. I only have about 6-8 weeks left, so this won't be a long one, but it will be detailed.
Sure is starting to fill out nicely. Removed some lower branches that won't develop fully, decided to try and re-veg a few cuttings. Not expecting them to live at all, but I'll try anyhow. Added a good heap of Bloom nutrients, finally. I waited longer than suggested, which allows me to not add a second dose to finish the harvest.
Sure is looking good, and smelling even better. Trichomes are really starting to pile on, I didn't expect to see this much already. By the looks of it, this will be my biggest producing plant I've grown so far. Being my first official outdoor grow, even though nothing went out on schedule, I'm still very happy with it so far. Next year will be even bigger and much better, but I'll leave that for another discussion.
Coming along very nicely. Trichome production is just booming. The smell is amazing, I have good feelings about this one. I believe I can expect a very good yield from this plant. Small buds and trim are destined for butter, and a large batch of RSO. I will also be making a batch of RSO with a mixture of cured flower, making it extra potent.
3 weeks and counting. I will definitely be making a big batch of oil with this beauty. Only with the trim and popcorn buds, nothing that's worth smoking on it's own. I feel this will be a nice plant to make hash from, when I grow it indoors this year.
Buds that I've smoked produce a mild buzz, nothing to knock you out. Currently finishing up a 4 week cure, and the smell gets stronger and stronger. I will update after a full cure has been completed, and oil and butter has been made and tested.
I've learned that outdoor growing makes for some boring journal updates. Next year will be different, as I have special plans in store. I am looking forward to growing this strain indoors, as it was a major producer of trichomes. I'm positive my experience I will have with the oil and butter will be well worth it. Edible update coming up in a week.
Nice plant and decent yield. I’m planning to grow this one outdoor next season (near Edmonton so I’ll force flower starting in early July). 38 weeks is a long time….did you start it in February?
@GeOMaTTiC, cool. I found for outdoor on Growdiaries it’s best for me to put the date and day on the photo caption. Knowing it’s Day 40 is important, but so is knowing is was, say, June 2. I found it also makes it easier for me to keep track of what week I’m at with a diary. Also, what latitude are you at?
@Northern_Ent, I can't remember exactly when I started them. I planned to flower them indoors, but I let them go too long, so I just put them outside. If I had put them in the ground right away when I dug the holes, it would have been tree times the size
