DAY 1: on the first day I popped two of my watermelon Zkittlez in two water to let the magic begin. not a lot more I can do other than watch and wait for life to take hold.....
DAY 2: only day two and one out two seeds has decided that the joy of life is to much to resist and crack that shell right open to allow her first sign of life begin with that all loved tap root.
DAY 3: woke up this morning to see life within the second shell!!!!! that's two for two now we let the root develop a little bit more before we plant them into there firsts but not last home. the coco coir...
just finishing week 4 off the watermelon Zkittlez and if i don't say so myself she's looking brilliant really putting her roots down into this 3 gallon fabric smart pot. she's recovered from her topping lovely which led me to top two more of her bottom nodes which also have bounced back super quick this strain really is here to mess about...
already having to defoliate once a week and its not just a few leave its been quite a lot considering her size.
having to guess what week this is as i haven't updated this diary properly since i started it mainly because i wasn't sure how to use the site but that's all cleared up now..
so week 5 has been a really productive week in the tent with the watermelon zkittlez knocking it up a gear as you can see from the photos she's started her low stress training and has also been topped on the main line once and twice on two of the side nodes. All three have started there road to recovery so all great there the top of the main line where i had take the first top i've started to pull the nodes down and start to train them....
thinking about in the next two weeks putting the tent into 12/12 and begin the flowering stage.
with it being the last day of the week i thought id do a quick update on how the zkittlez is doing, soooooo started the training on her about 4 days ago which she took to really well with me having to adjusted the ropes near on every day. the growth of all the nodes is incredible up till this point. where ive topped her shes responded really well with the new tow main stem's growing ten fold.
only thing im worried about is the coco isnt drying out as fast as i'd like limiting the amount of times a week i can feed, hopefully as her roots start to spread out in her home the pot will dry up faster due to the plant needing more feed....
First day of week 6 in veg and she’s looking great continued with pinning her nodes down and will follow up with a feed.
Definitely looking at putting her into 12/12 the following week.
with the first 4 photos being the Monday the very beginning of the week and the last 3 photos are of the Sunday the very last day of the week and omg what a difference the week has made bear in mind throughout the week I've been readjusting given her a slight defoliation as well and she's done nothing but bounce back. YOU GO GRIL...
so with the flowering idea I had at the beginning of the week I will be doing it but not till the following Monday as this week got the fucking landlords round so need to sort the house out so all's good..
I am so jealous I really wanna start this one I must purchase it :) I went with tutukamon from pyramid it boasts upto 30% thc so I took that as a challenge ha
