Clones created from when we mainlined some plants from another grow. For kicks, they were left in in our small greenhouse for about a month in solo cups with paper towels soaked in water.
After some surprisingly good root growth, we transferred them to the bigger pot and just left them in the garden next to our tomatoes. A few weeks later the plants showed some good veg growth. I gave most of them away to some friends but kept the Super Silver Haze as a side project. I wasn't going to document this grow but have decided to create the diary now that we're 8 weeks into veg. So, I've skipped the first 2 months of growing which is why this diary starts at week 8...but she's got my full attention now.
For this run, I'm experimenting with some LST. Includes bending the main stem 90 degrees and training all nodes to create the even canopy. I topped only the main cola and trained the 2 new main cola nodes and all the lower nodes in a circle using a wire frame support. The lowest node is actually trained to grow in the opposite direction of the main stem. The plant is responding well and most of the nodes are growing symmetrically.
I'm very curious to see how she grows during the flowering stage. It is an outdoor grow and I'll let it progress under the outdoor light which will mean harvest will probably happen at the end of Oct or into Nov. I'll be moving it into our small greenhouse during the nights when the temp drops too low or if we get any frost to try and extend the flower cycle.
She's responded well to all the stress for now. It's amazing how these plants can grow so well with all the manipulation.
