I grew this plant from a SSH clone from the earlier summer grow.
Did some training during the veg stage which kept her small but she still produced some good bud. Never really touched the plant after that.
Keeping her small also allowed me to move her into the backyard greenhouse which allowed the grow to extend into Nov.
Looking close at the trichomes I see there is about 10-20% amber nodes and the rest are mostly opaque white.
Looking forward to some quality control in a couple of weeks. 😊
Lessons learned on the SSH run...
- A lot of experimenting with with LST & HST. Lolli popped the plant just before the flower stage. These plants can take a lot of stress and actually grow better depending on the technique.
- Some mold on one of the buds so I had to cut that out. This was caused by the high humidity in the greenhouse. Next time, open the lid of the greenhouse more often or install a fan to move the air.
- The Destiny Grow System with the nutrient enriched soil, ph balancer and grow teas kept the plants healthy and strong during the first half of the grow.
- The Botanicare Pro Bloom helped with the bud growth and the plants loved the addition of molasses every other feed. They rarely showed stress during the cycles.
- The small DIY greenhouse came in handy during the wet and cold days which allowed me to extend the season.
Smoke Experience....
Will be back to report after the bud has been cured. 👍
Very lovely looking plant very short for a silver haze but none the less awesome!
Keep up the great work looking forward to seeing more diaries from you!
Happy Growing!
