Soaked 21/08/2020, planted a day after.
I wonder how hard is it to come up with a new strain name :-D Making up diaries titles is becoming tedious, especially when you have no idea why it was called like this originally and grow it for the first time. I tend to try to create a link with the original title when naming them. Oh, creativity.
What a fuck is Runtz for example?
Now the lady actually is under SF-1000 that I've bought recently, but she'll move under previous-gen lights when replanted in 12L pot. Everything seems to be cool, no problems for now.
Bending to the ground, burying stem-loop after that, watering daily a bit. Leaves turn yellowish - seems like some PH fluctuation or I don't know, didn't do anything with it except adding a bit nutes in one of the watering sessions. Hope for the best. Growth pace is ok according to timelapse.
Faster growth, color problems seem to disappear. Looking good to me in general. The tied down stem-loop is starting to turn into the root zone, but I'm trying to water the center of the pot and the substrate gets washed away, so I have to bury it again and again which gets annoying at some point. I have few plants with knots on stems - they were stretching too fast after germination and I decided to do the experiment and tie a knot, I'm not sure if it's the reason but the plants turned out to be super compact. I'm still thinking about creating another diary but the content would be much more sparse since I'm not doing daily pics.
Topped the lady at the start of the week, the bended stem curled a bit (as seen on the last pic of the week) and I'm trying to spread the branches making canopy somewhat flat later
She has stretched a lot this week, stigmas have appeared but no buds formed yet, so I guess next week would be somewhat real flowering. This lady is pretty bushy, it feels like with longer vega and SCRoG or similar the yield would be crazy. Let's see what mine will yield
As with the Runtz Muffin cut some lower branches that won't see any light, the watering scheme is also the same - I got lots of salt buildup last time
All good :-) I kinda like the exterior of the lady
Broke two biggest branches on day 6 of the week, wanted to flatten the canopy. Watering as Runtz, water/nutrients from time to time. Fewer burns on new leaves and the growth are kinda fast, so all seem good.
She kinda blew up in size this week :) Since I equalized the EC and there's this drip system it accelerated like crazy :) Waiting and hoping for monster buds. Everything fine this week
She kinda blowed up after the switch to the dripping system, no salt buildups anymore, and she likes the food. I like the way she looks! Some of the lower parts of the flower turn purple, I've never grown anything like this 😊
Few leaves have some kind of necrosis and I don't know what's the reason :-P Also, lots of purple hues appeared, probably because I was leaving the window open at night and it was pretty cold, though I don't know the exact temperature.
Stigmas are still mostly white and I didn't check the trichomes yet. I did the switch to 12/12 8 weeks ago and now I'm again a bit confused about how long should I wait for her to finish
Purple hues all over the plant, strawberry smell on touch
I was thinking of adding some PK to promote further growth but not sure if I should.
Necrosis on leaves also made me think it lacks phosphorus but I'm not sure what is it so I won't do anything and will switch to water in a week or so
Flushing since day 6, week of flush and cut. She's a fucking Goddess! Smells literally like strawberry. More like a strawberry explosion than lemonade :-D
She's falling apart under the weight of her buds, and slowly turning black 😊
I don't know if it's me or her just being that kind of a pheno but I'm super happy to meet her.
Cutting tomorrow morning
A beast that surprised me a lot - yield is massive and the growing is easy, strawberry tones changed to more mango-like after harvest. This pheno also gave me lots of black and purple hues.
Yeeey, super rad that I had this one. Popped another one and will try to get more out of it. My lady was super sweet and full of tropical aromas, though while growing it was pure strawberry.
