π± Started with 4 Seeds Only 2 Above Ground 1 looks great and 1 is questionable.
βΆοΈSaturday 08.29.20 - Germinated 4 Gorilla Girl XL Auto Seeds using the wet paper towel method.
βΆοΈSunday 08.30.20 - Checked on seeds today the temps and humidity are in line. Should be able to plant Monday Evening!
βΆοΈMonday 08.31.20 - I planted the Gorilla Girls today into 5-Gallon Pots, the taproots looked very good, I always mist the surface of the soil, Make a nice little hole, add some Mycorrhiza to the seed, cover it, mist again or if the soil is dry, use a squirt bottle to make sure it is nice and moist. I like to cover it with a clear 1Qt food container that has been misted on the inside to help promote humidity, will use this until the seedling's roots are ready to feed themselves. I popped 4 seeds planted 3 in 5-gallon pots and 1 in a solo cup as back up if I can detect a runted plant and the solo cup looks better I will swap it out. I will only be growing the best of the 3.
βΆοΈTuesday 09.01.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, no signs of seedlings yet!
βΆοΈWednesday 09.02.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, no signs of seedlings yet!
βΆοΈThursday 09.03.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, seedlings are starting to pop, continue to focus on maintaining environmental goals.
βΆοΈFriday 09.04.20 - Day 1 - Today started adding a bit of Root Juice, added stem support, increased the light power to 50% to control overstretching.
βΆοΈSaturday 09.05.20 - Day 2 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
βΆοΈSunday 09.06.20 - Day 3 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
βΆοΈMonday 09.07.20 - Day 4 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
βΆοΈTuesday 09.08.20 - Day 5 / Today I fed the coco and plants with an extremely light amount of nutrients, Fish Emulsion, BioBiz Acti-Vera, and Bio-Heaven will be returning to H20 tomorrow. I was more excited bout this run than the other 3 Sweet Seeds, I would hate to see this be only 1 plant - if that happens I will go with the Sweet Gelato for replacements, I need to make sure this grow finishes with 12 Sweet Seeds Plants!
βΆοΈWednesday 09.09.20 - Day 6 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK

β¨ Smell Report - Growing this lady with four other cultivars, the closet is just sickly sweet, when doing aroma testing individually this girl has a very intense, sweet, and fruity aroma with hints of earthy notes, and toasted hazelnuts.
π± Plant #1 14-Inches - The buds on this lady are a bit smaller but are ambering pretty quickly, I will do a little more defoliation on her latter-day but she is beautiful and frosty, was just hoping for a bit more out of her she is the last of 4 seeds.

Pre Harvest Report / Jack 47 XL Auto by Sweet Seeds
βΎ Wet Weight β 326 grams, tightly trimmed but still on bigger stems so I can hang them β this will greatly affect finish dry weight, for a smaller plant this one produced very well, with some LST I feel this one could have produced more.
βΎ Bud Appearance, The Buds were very sticky, with lots of frosty trichomes, a mixture of greens with amber hairs, very pretty buds.
βΎ The Aroma - The smell was heavy on the citrus slightly earthy, and to me strong hints of vanilla, the smell is intoxicating.

MrJones I want to fist start off by thanking Sweet Seeds for their gracious sharing of their seeds, I popped 4 seeds and only had one that took hold, this was not what I expected, I was trying out a new Super COCO, watering with Dechlorinated H20, Compost Teas, Fish Emulsion, the grow was very smooth, no real issues, decided not to do any training, just blown away by this frosty and beautiful cultivar, I am very happy with the dry weight/yield β the smoke is super strong, and my friends are begging me to grow more! You truly have to try this one out it will rock your world!
@MrJones, congrats on the diary win. Grow those blueberry autos lol hint hint. I agree with you on the wiggle worms casting. Itβs the tits in coco and dry amendments. My Grandmommy purples looking good, sheβs starting to make those legs wide Open . Lol
@MrJones, Oh, it's an auto, duh. I must've been high or something. The NL Blue is only my second run of an auto and prior to that I had a run with 3 others. So, my experience with them is limited. It does makes sense that you'd want to avoid slow vegging plants. Maybe could see how big they get before pushing out the first pistils. Might get a decent structure with some strains and if they're still small when they start to flower then you'd know if you'd want yo putt 'em in the bin or salvage them. These are just thoughts from a noob who likes to hoard seeds. πππ
@FoTwenny, yea I have over-trained and stunted them in their 3rd and 4th week, and they bounce back when they go into the flowering phase but when they are like this I truly haven't seen many strains bounce back.
Thanks for sharing a new diary with one of our strains.
We hope you enjoy it :P
Once finished, with the final notes of the strains, you can ask us for more seeds to share another diary.
Sweet smokes!
Jaypp
@MrJones, sheβs on the go now, beautiful foliage. My 2 Auto OG kush are slow and small for 3 weeks old. looks like theyβre stunted during seedling stage. Luckily one of them is doing good this week. Have a nice week πβοΈβ€οΈπππ

I cant wait to run mine man u got me all kinds of excited to go start popping beans but i dnt got any xtra room yet an plus anyway gotta wait for soil 2 finish cooking lol. But yea bro gud luck with the rest of the grow. I actually had a question what is the lil specks of stuff on the paper towel in the pic of u germing ur seeds?
