🌱 Only 4 of 3 Seeds Above Ground, 2 are looking good 1 is questionable - will give it another week.
▶️Saturday 08.29.20 - Germinated 4 Dark Devil Auto Seeds using the wet paper towel method
▶️Sunday 08.30.20 - Checked on seeds today the temps and humidity are in line.
▶️Monday 08.31.20 - Today I planted the Dark Devil Auto's - the tap roots were the best developed out of all 4 of the Sweet Seeds Strain. I always mist the surface of the soil, Make a nice little hole, add some Mycorrhiza to the seed, cover it, mist again or if the soil is dry, use a squirt bottle to make sure it is nice and moist. I like to cover it with a clear 1Qt food container that has been misted on the inside to help promote humidity, will use this until the seedlings roots are ready to feed themselves. I popped 4 seeds planted 3 in 5-gallon pots and 1 in a solo cup as back up if I can detect a runted plant and the solo cup looks better I will swap it out. I will only be growing the best of the 3.
▶️Tuesday 09.01.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, no signs of seedlings yet!
▶️Wednesday 09.02.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, no signs of seedlings yet!
▶️Thursday 09.03.20 - Keeping the soil moist and the temperatures and Humidity in check, seedlings are starting to pop, continue to focus on maintaining environmental goals.
▶️Friday 09.04.20 - Day 1 / Today started adding a bit of Root Juice, added stem support, increased the light power to 50% to control overstretching.
▶️Saturday 09.05.20 - Day 2 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
▶️Sunday 09.06.20 - Day 3 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
▶️Monday 09.07.20 - Day 4 / Just keeping the Coco Moist - Seedlings doing OK
▶️Tuesday 09.08.20 - Day 5 / Today I fed the coco and plants with an extremely light amount of nutrients, Fish Emulsion, BioBiz Acti-Vera, and Bio-Heaven will be returning to H20 tomorrow.
▶️Wednesday 09.09.20 - Day 6 /

Started a compost tea today.
▶️Sunday 09.27.20 - Day 3 / Fed the plants with the compost tea today, a nice health amount.
▶️Monday 09.28.20 - Day 4 / Skipping the watering today to let the plants feed off that tea another day. Plant #1 is just blowing up, already starting to flower and stretch, I never had an Auto push 18 inches halfway through week 4!

Pre Harvest Report / Dark Devil by Sweet Seeds
◾ Wet Weight – 280, tightly trimmed but still on bigger stems so I can hang them – this will greatly affect finish dry weight
◾ Bud Appearance, genuinely nice with heavy dark purples, tight bud stacking, lots of frosty trichomes, the bud was not quite as sticky as I hoped, a little dyer then most of my past harvests
◾ The aroma although again lighter, but still sweet, fruity with a citrus finish
=================================
▶️Friday 11.07.20 - Day 1 / Just watered w/ H20 PH @ 6.2 / 6.5
▶️Saturday 11.07.20 - Day 2 / Harvest Day Teaser Pre Report, will be about 2 weeks before the next update!
So overall the buds were very pretty, dark, purple hues, not quite solid, would like to have seen this more in the flowers, I left a few of the small sugar leaves in the buds, as they were nicely covered in trichomes, and offered a very nice contrast to the darkness of the buds, the buds are very frosty and smell very nice with strong hints of fruit, citrus, a nice floral-herbal finish.
I want to fist start off by thanking Sweet Seeds for their gracious sharing of their seeds, I popped 4 seeds and only had one that took hold, this was not what I expected, I was trying out a new Super COCO, watering with Dechlorinated H20, Compost Teas, Fish Emulsion, the grow was very smooth, no real issues, decided not to do any training, overall very pleased with the yield, the high as reported by my friend is super nice and very flavorful! If you like Dark Strains, I would kindly recommend this one to you, happy growing!
Ha Ha Thanks! @hannabis420, Believe it and you can achieve it! Solid Strain! SuggaShane, for stopping by and commenting on this diary - much appreciated!
Another one bites the dust. To be honest I've chatted with other growers and this particular strain seems to be in a bad rut. Not many people are having luck and those who do remark of deformity or abnormalities in growth. I'm happy to see you have one thriving. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
@MrJones, sad to see that she didn’t make it 😞, i had some bad luck with one of my OGK . Let’s just move on to the next chapter. Happy farming ! 👋😊❤️🙏✌️🙌
@Treighfunky, Yeppers man, she is starting to pack on the bud weight as well, still not convinced I would grow it again, just do not have luck with the purple strains!
Out of the 4 DD's Sweet Seeds sent me to do diaries for, I only have one "healthy-ish" one, and one other that might actually make something of itself..eventually...but 2 of them are ridiculously weak/mutated/stunted...looks like your average was only a little better.
I've been observing other DD diaries started in the past month and it seems to me like they sent us some old stock, or that they were in somebody's pocket while having an x-ray done...or maybe they were stored between two powerful, opposite-pole magnets for a while???
Sad....
@Silverback_Guerilla, Agreed on something odd, I normally will get 9 of 10 seeds up and going, of the 16 seeds I started I have 5 truly healthy and 3 stunted and 8 RIPS - I started 4 more seeds by sweet seeds and I have 4 above ground doing ok, will be moving them to the closet Saturday - I am in the same boat as you with the DD. My wife said you can't beat free seeds, but when I broke down the cost of the soil, amendments, water, along with the power to push a grow, she was a bit shocked, so resources are not cheap - with that said, I feel I will still get a bountiful harvest, and the joy of being able to produce a strong finish from a weak start - fare well my friend!
Simply awesome Mr Jones! Just beautiful! I love your cover photos, and in-depth information you provide and enthusiasm for your grows. I keep coming back to 👀
Happy Growing
@Puffdamagikchillum, My daughter is a huge Anime fan and thought we could do Anime pictures for this run :) Thinking about Female Gunslingers for my next run!

Dankest of Thanks for all your help, hope you have a righteous purple harvest! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🤘🏼
