Those are roots! just add little soil on top.😅 There is fungi called MYCORRHIZAE that looks similiar and its incredibly beneficial to cannabis plants https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-fungi-can-make-your-cannabis-plants-prosper-n357

Harbinger is correct, that looks like a root and root hairs. Cover it up and be gentle. Should be fine though, just keep an eye out for it to resurface as she ages. This is one of the reasons I dont do the paper towel method anymore and instead just drop my beans in a rapid rooter cube. If your soil is too tightly packed, it can also cause this.

that is actually a Root... looks more like a root then mold.. Mold has a different look... Looking at stuff and being confident is difficult... It may not actually be a root. but I am 80% sure it is a root.

The roots coming out of the stem you will discover more often in the future. Don't cut them. Plants that small you never ever will need to cut anything. They are really vulnerable when they are seedlings.

bro if you want good weed and good buds later with this plant stop messing with it. the plant was breed to do certain things in its life, by cutting and messing around you may lose a harvest later. i recommend just let the plant be so you can see how the plant grows and learn how it grows, you will have a good harvest each time. cannabis can take a lot, the only thing you need to do is give it food and water, light and air. so just sit back and let the plant be. i promise you that it will all turn out the way it should

Yea dude slow your role... It's a common mistake amongst new growers to think they can "force" plants to grow faster or stronger.. There is nothing you can as a newbie that will guarantee success.. Other then maybe being patient and allowing your plant to grow.. Be patient.

Saw some yellow on tip of leaf. Too much food? Not enough cal mag? Or due to sun as I left on my window for an hour to get some heat and proper light. What are your thoughts?

Listen to these folks. Gotta re-pot! Tape that cup up for darkness at a minimum and make sure your humidity is +45% (closer to 55-60 if you can!)

4 weeks in a tiny pot is a long time. They aren’t really growing at expected rate. I would always plant autos in their final pots and just be careful not to overwater them. But it looks like you are doing an indoor sunlight tiny pot first time grow? Don’t expect them to come to much then sorry. Get a tent, some lights, an extractor fan and 2-5 gallon pots. Plant more seeds. Autos are a sprint race. They are easy and fast. But you don’t have time to waste on them. Watch this site. That is where I picked up most if my small skills.

I think its rootbound so hot soil and high pH are likely. Also wrap something around the cup so the roots arent exposed to light.

Cotyledons die once the plant's internal nutrients run out. This is your signal to begin feeding. It usually happens towards the end of week 3.

This is normal. They eventually wither and die. As long as your new growth looks good (it does) then you're fine. I do see some bleaching or something on your lower tips and to be honest I'm not sure what that is, hopefully a grower here may. I do know that 7 is a little high for pH, if barely. Give it some swings between 6 and 7 or shoot for 6.5. I'd also consider re-potting this lady VERY soon!

when, how and where from do I start LST. Awkward question I know but try and answer please. Also when should I switch this to 12-12 light cycle as final pot as its an autoflower. And should I reduce from 6500k to 2700k? Want to see what i will get from this as a 1st grow n test

Hey, I would only change the lights from 18/6 to 20/4 for autos. They want as much light as possible. Don’t go down to 12/12 unless you don’t have any other options. Happy growing

That is normal. Check out my diary with C99, and you see that I have had yellowing leaves through out my grow and at different levels of the plants. They look great going into flower. As long as the new leaves are the deep green you are looking for, and they stay green for a while, then there should be no problem. Good growing.

There's nothing to worry about. It's normal for the cotyledons to yellow and fall off. They store food for the roots during the seedling stage so that they can develop enough to start getting nutrients from the soil. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember " Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time ".

See some yellow on top and bottom leaves. See some odd colouring on 1 of the leaves and some odd spots. Few brown on the leaf tips. I know its a lot but any idea what this can be? Also see some tears on my new leaf in the last pics on the tips. Is that normal. Looks chewed.

Hey there Newbie, you're seeing signs of pH fluctuations , you should try to bring the pH progressively down to 6.0 if you're in soil, do that and the problem will stop spreading and the plant will recover. Hope this helps ! 🚀

How big can I expect the bud to grow as I have now just added a 600w grow light on veg and bloom, . Will it cover the whole top half of the plant? Should I switch to a 12/12 light cycle?

I agree with what was said earlier, but you don't have enough soil to make huge buds, and it is highly strain dependent. If you look at my shark and gorilla skittles journals you will see one with massive bud structure, and the shark with more of a popcorn like bud consistency. both are the same age and grown under the same lights. Also I am growing in solo cups around the same size as your pot/water-bottle so that should give you an idea of what to expect. I'd say at max you will get a large bug the height of a 12oz can and 1/2 the width. Hope that helps! P.S. for huge buds : critical strains golfball size round buds: cookies small: most sativas and like landrace thai

Hey Growmie, Since you're growing an autoflower there is no need to change the light cycle they'll flower perfectly fine under 18/6. Now as far as how big the buds will get depends on a lot for starters you're growing a Sativa dominant plant, so those buds sometimes end up airy compared to indicas but this isn't always the case. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

See some weird sacks where the sex is shown in between the nodes. Hope this is not male sacks? If it is, what do I do? Is it because the plant is stressed? Am I ready to harvest? Should I start flushing? Please try answer all the questions if possible. Many thanks

those are female calyxes, they are the bottom of the little stigma hairs, it looks deformed. so no stress, you probably have 3 weeks. so to flush is safe, she looks good and you will be happy that you waited 3weeks more. happy soon to be harvest

I think they are female flowers, one is mutilated so i can’t tell you i’m sure 100% but stay easy. The plant is not ready, but u can start flush the soil that i think is a little bit saturated of salt, maybe give only topmax and 1ml of bloom after 3 times water . You need to wait 2 weeks or a little bit more for harvest the biggest bud the plant can give u

I tried without, with 24 hours of darkness, and with 24 hours of darkness AND a bag of ice right on the soil to melt down and cool. I do the last one now. No proper evidence, but lots of local growers do it and honestly it made mine a lot heavier and stickier. Maybe its just water rention in the buds and it dries back out, god knows. But I do both now. Lol

Wait a couple days or at least shut off the lights for the last two days and lower the temps if possible! This helps flush chlorophyll and sugars out of the plant and gives a much smoother smoke than a flush alone ever could!

Sir, you are officially the most nervous novice I’ve encountered. I nearly ditched reading your diary, but decided you need all the help you can get, even if you don’t like how it sounds. Everyone has advised you wisely except to say knock it off! Actually @DeadwebsiteBoringcommunity pretty much said the same thing, only more politely. Let the plants grow themselves. They’ve been doing it for thousands of years and they don’t need much help now. Don’t hover. Feed and check moisture, pH, air movement, pest infestations, humidity and GET OUT OF THE WAY I genuinely wish you great success, and that’s fairly easy because cannabis is hard to fuck up. Enjoy the process and your harvest
