growerflowerweed Well, these two girls are in this little system, during the day they soak up the sun like crazy, and at night they sleep with the LED light. What do you think I should do? I haven't watered them yet. @sweetseds, what do you advise?

Four days ago I planted, and today it sprouted. I don't know when to water. I have a root tonic from Extreme Nutrients. I want to know when to apply it and how much. I've only moistened the substrate with a spray.

Hello. Within the seed is enough energy to get the seedling up to the first true leaves. You are growing in soil. the plant is small and will take some energy from the soil. So you can wait till the 2nd pair of leaves are out and then give a half strength dose of food. I know you just want them to grow, but they are on slow speed till about the forth set of leaves. Nothing but water for a little while please. Good Luck. Chuck.

growerflowerweed WELL, WE'RE ENTERING A NEW WEEK and I've followed step by step the advice I've seen online. This is my second watering, only with water, controlling a pH of 5.5. During the day, I leave them in the sun, and at night, I leave them under the LED light. On day 16, I added 1 ml of root tonic and 1 ml of Bionova complete mix nutrients per liter of water. I gave each plant 200 ml of water.

growerflowerweed Well, I started with LST and the plant accepted it very well. The other plant, I don't know why, still hasn't wanted to take off. I've noticed it's stayed small and was a bit pale. I've applied the Bionova and it seems to be gaining color. Let's see if I need to raise the application a bit more for this little one, but I'm patiently waiting to see what happens. I'm using a pH of 6.0, so let's see how it ends up these days. We're starting our 3rd week strong, let's see how it goes...

hey, I need a bit of help. I planted both plants at the same time, but one stayed smaller. The other one has grown and I applied LST, and it's doing really well. It just has a yellow spot on the leaves, and I don't know what it could be. Help, please! I HAVE COCONUT SUBSTRATE, PERLITE, AND HUMUS.

Hi! Maybe you have overwatered the girl and shes stunted? Overwatering causes yellowing on the leaves and stunts the growth. They dont need much water when they are so small and dryer soil makes the roots to spread out more too.

All looks spot on if you're calibrated good - with all meters, its worth buying the calibrations fluids ( 2 point pH 7 and pH 4 - if you can go pH 10 too, you're golden but 4 & 7 means you're calibrated in the area you need to be) and the EC1.4 fluid for your TDS/EC Meter. 600ppm=1.2ec roughly which is a decent area to be in early veg - would just be wary of still overfeeding as if that's fresh soil, it will hold some nutrients as well so you could still potentially over-do things, just make sure you're not getting burn and if so, dial back the strength by a percentage. Hope this helps and happy growing! :)

growerflowerweed WELL, THIS WEEK WAS CRAZY! I GOT AN EXCELLENT CHANGE BY BEING ABLE TO IMPROVE THE pH AND EC. I’M DEFINITELY LEARNING A LOT. I WOULD LOVE TO JUMP INTO THE BIG STUFF, BUT WE’RE STILL IN THE LEARNING PROCESS. I SEE THAT THE LST HAS ALSO DEVELOPED VERY WELL. I HOPE TO BE DOING ALL THESE STEPS WONDERFULLY. I IMPROVED THE EC AND pH AS MY FRIENDS FROM @sweet_seeds ADVISED ME, AND I THINK THIS WILL KEEP GETTING BETTER. I HOPE TO COUNT ON THEM FOR SOME NEW STRAINS THAT I WANT TO LEARN A LOT MORE ABOUT. THANKS ANYWAY, AND IF YOU SEE ANYTHING TO IMPROVE, LET ME KNOW IN PRIVATE. GOOD VIBES, APARTMENT GROWERS......... AAA, I ALMOST FORGOT! THIS TIME I ONLY ADDED BIONOVA SOUL MIX AND DIDN'T ADD THE ROOTING AGENTS. IT'S REALLY GOOD; I DIDN'T NEED TO ADD MORE. GREETINGS!

growerflowerweed These beautiful ladies are doing well, but I would like to know why they haven't changed to their purple hue yet. @sweet_seeds could you tell me if it's a genetic issue or if I'm doing something wrong? I water my plants measuring practically everything and we're correcting many mistakes. I would like to know how we can improve, thanks.

growerflowerweed Well, I haven't smoked it yet, but I hope everything is going really well. It's my first grow, and I hope I've done an excellent job. I can't wait to see what happens when I smoke it. I hope the photos are helpful!

@sweet_seeds I need help because it hasn't changed color yet, what could it be?

@Hufacripa, it’s too young. I f it going to change color it will be toward end wks of flower. Cool temps at night also cause color shift. Be careful when giving ferts. to autos. They can be very sensitive. Some strains don’t handle ferts. well. I never feed over 25% strength. And only once in veg. And 2-3 times in bloom. This is only my auto regiment and isn’t written in stone. Good luck

@growerflowerweed, Not all plants get that reddish hue. Some factors can affect it like temperature, humidity, latitude, altitude, or phenotype. That's why many growers cultivate several plants to ensure they get the desired color or characteristic. Sweet smokes, -Apolo

@growerflowerweed, Try measuring the EC levels. It might be an issue with the EC. You can do a root flush and for the next waterings, try to water with the correct EC. You can search on Google for more information, or register on our forum (ForumSweetSeeds) to leave your questions and we'll help you solve them. Sweet smokes, -Apolo

I believe you have given too much water too frequently. Essentially you’ve been on the verge of overwatering since she was a seedling. I often comment on overeating as it’s an easy fix. When you put new soil in the pot. IN SOIL, For the first 2 weeks you literally only need to use 100-200ml of plain water + a root booster (half strength) if you have it. If you’re using a good light soil, with aeration you will have an explosion of growth with only a small amount of water. Another crucial thing is to keep the soil warm even before you plant the seed in it. For the first 2 weeks cold will slow the growth. And with autos you cannot afford to lose time. Check my recent diary upload of the dark devil, look through the posts and see how big the plant is compared to the pot. If you want to know how I watered that plant was in coco, you can ask me in the comments and I will explain. Good luck

40g dry, at a height of 10cm? Sorry, but that absolutely does not look like a Red Poison from Sweet Seeds. I've had over 100 Red Poison in the last few years, and they've all been purple and always had between 15 and 25g dry. They've always been between 60 and 75cm tall. They were always grown outdoors directly in the soil and without fertilizer, and they were always ready after 9 weeks. ( ALWAYS )
